And our network of specialized hospitals and biocontainment units across the country has been such a smart, sustained investment, for moments just like this. The folks working at the CDC I'm talking to are doing an incredible job. I asked one today, what do you want the country to know. The response: "“just let us do our f@#$ing jobs!” But at the federal level, our response was slow, the comms have had real struggles, and I'm worried that all the cuts we made over the past year have greatly hobbled our ability to respond to threats like this. People keep saying Trump won Indiana’s primaries. It was actually strong candidates who ran good campaigns, built relationships with their districts, and focused on salient issues with the conservative grassroots. For @indystar

@indystar People coming to the polls in the Senate 23 Republican primary were mostly voting against the other Republican candidate. The sign included below is evidence for this approach. I have never previously seen a yard sign at a polling site that included an attack on an opponent.
