It is time for Parliament to stand up and take action on the sewage crisis after years of failure under the Conservatives. Liberal Democrats have today tabled an amendment to Labour’s Water Bill, to outlaw bonuses for Water company bosses. This disgraced industry has shown it is not worthy of any bonuses, while they fail customers and continue to dump sewage in our water ways.

Appalled that Tories shut down debate on plans to reduce minimum income guarantee at today's NCC meeting. Democracy was silenced. Despite strong opposition from public, they seem set to press ahead with move. This is just plain wrong and a slap in the face for vulnerable people.
