There’s nothing official at this stage confirming Cristian Romero is leaving Tottenham. Rumours are doing the rounds, but no deal or announcement has been made. ⚪️⚽️

Very unlikely, my money is on SAKO. I also think there will be another order of KS1 at some point if Spec Ops is necessarily expanded in line with US troop numbers. That only happens if the SR are being readied for full scale conflict. It might not seem a huge cost but ~300k rifles stacks up pretty fast, so it’s imperative procurement gets this right.

@DavidSays3 @nicholadrummond I think it's gonna be CZ Bren for that reason I think it's the most combat proven model too there's a ton of them in Ukraine

The key contenders for the British Army's Project Grayburn - to replace the L85 rifle - are starting to become clear. Although I have listed six weapons, there may be others, e.g. Sako AK24, but those shown below are the strongest options. All of them with the exception of the KS-1 have short-stroke, piston operated systems. 2 or 3 different barrel lengths will be requested: 12.5", 14.5", and 16.5". All are suppressor ready. Longer front hand guards are a thing. The British Army customer is likely to ask for a dual-sided charging handle. All of the weapons listed below are excellent. As I've said before, the industrial offer will be crucial. Offering UK barrel manufacturing may be what wins it. It seems a bullpup weapon is out of the picture, unless... a lack of money forces the Army to upgrade the L85 again.

The police are firing warning shots designed to frighten an assailant into submission. He was likely armed with something and is being partially but not fully compliant with their warnings. Can hear from the shot that it’s a controlled discharge, single shot each time so the police are unlikely to have any negligence reports against them from this and the filming of it will have helped them prove so if required.
