@TyDunne To tell you the truth, I think the issue really is home court for everyone. I don’t think this is a Syracuse or a Connecticut issue. I think it’s a tournament issue. And by the way, on a neutral court, they would still lose by 30.

BREAKING: Arizona State is finalizing a five-year deal with Saint Mary's Randy Bennett to make him the Sun Devils' next head coach, sources told me and @PeteThamel. Bennett is an Arizona native who has led Saint Mary's to 12 NCAA tournament appearances since taking over in 2001.

Brayden Burries from Eastvale Roosevelt has Arizona on title hunt. If UCLA can't keep players local in the era of NIL, there won't be any NCAA titles. One of the greatest two-year spans of talent in Southern California has ended with no high school players going to UCLA. Problem.

This is a good point. Cats melted down for a long stretch of the second half (18-point lead cut to four), and past teams would have collapsed completely. But Bradley and Krivas were excellent. The tight game will serve them well in the regionals

Tonight the Cats escaped the type of game that has recently knocked them out of the NCAA Tournament. UA shot 39% (15-39) on 2FGAs today, a good 16% below season average of 55%. USU shot 53% (17-32) on 2FGAs, 10% better than UA's defensive average (43.7%, No. 2 nationally).
