Canada keeps exporting wildfire smoke, then exports excuses. Stop blaming "climate change" for government failures to manage forests and prevent catastrophic fires. America shouldn't have to breathe the consequences of Canada's negligence. My latest in @dailywire: dailywire.com/news/blame-can…

I’m confused on why forest fires (started by arson) are considered “climate change”? Drought existed before humanity. Fire was naturally the way pine forests reset themselves for millenia. Maybe we can start logging forests that are 10x the density they should be?

@fubarrdog @FIfififif7246 Y’all have like *no* forest per capita to maintain and somehow still can’t stop it from crossing the border. Isn’t stopping border crossings like your thing now?

This really is a perfect encapsulation of the Canadian mind, because their country is literally consumed by blazing hellfires and yet they're smug because the US is a bit hazy from the smoke

Canada fucked our entire week with their wildfire smoke bullshit, now they're going to fuck our weekend with thunderstorms fueled by the same smoke. At first, I guffawed at the idea of sanctioning the Snow Mexicans. I am now on board. How dare you mildly inconvenience me.

@Rythmol81 The US has at least restarted it federal forest service & Forestry management which that was stopped under the Obama EPA. Canada decided to cancel forestry management completely, and replaced it with an arson schedule.

@RachelVT42 Yeah but like this isn’t a “pedestrian zone”. No one lives in the Village, it’s a 15 min car drive into the town of Tremblant and over an hour from the nearest metro centre….

@DavidSpies17 Many ski resorts aren’t pedestrian friendly at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, many are super boring in summer. Not true for MT.

@DanRidesPA Quebec banned it in 2001, yet had one of their worst wildfire years in history recently. Thoughts?

I'm going to just keep reposting this for every Canadian who wants to come at me with CBC talking points. Look, if I cared what CBC said, I'd listen to CBC. No one asked for regurgitated muddle-brained talking points. Pay attention, words ahead: Glyphosate (the active ingredient in herbicides like Roundup) is widely used in Canadian forestry for vegetation management after clear-cutting. Its primary purpose is to suppress competing deciduous plants and herbaceous vegetation, allowing commercially valuable conifers (pine, spruce) to establish more quickly in regenerating forests. Deciduous/mixed forests (promoted by non-chemical methods) are less flammable than conifer plantations. Sprayed areas can create drier, more uniform fuel loads. Application of this herbicide remains common in provinces managing Crown forests but remains highly controversial due to ecological, health, Indigenous rights, and wildfire resilience concerns. Quebec banned it for forestry in 2001, while other provinces continue with certain regulations. Guess where the fires are most problematic?

CO2 per capita is higher in Canada than the USA. I was not expecting that when I asked AI. So you're all just lying about how Green you are and acting smug about it. Some next level gaslighting.

50% of wildfires in Canada are human started That's a provable number that AI will give you, but there are many fires that were inconclusive on how it started Its likely closer to 95% human caused, as lightning doesn't strike the same area twice

For all the Canadians who keep posting the same image showing forest area in Canada: Canada has 1.4 million square miles of forest. The US has 1.2 million square miles. Canada is 35-38% covered by forest. The US is 33-36% covered by forest. Quit making excuses and get your government to control this mess.
