We also applied, for the first time, PC volumetry to patients with #MCI (mild cognitive impairment) and #Alzheimer’s disease. We found PC atrophy already in MCI. It was more pronounced than atrophy of #hippocampus and #amygdala - PC atrophy might be a novel biomarker. (4/5)
