Dear Dr. Joe,
This your comment is absolutely misleading and disparaging for a profession you claim to be a member.
It’s not in your place to ridicule a professional charge in such a manner you did here.
Learned silk is entitled to his/her charge, so also the lawyer who charged you lesser. Let’s not pretend as if in other society you won’t pay these fees without even ridiculing the work.

Maybe I should even apply to be a Notary Public. One Lagos SAN’s Abuja office once wanted to charge 10% of the value of my UK property to witness my signature on a mortgage application form. I offered them N5k, but they said they don’t take that kind of money. I left and went to another firm in Wuse 2. Once I said I was a lawyer, they happily did it for me for free. I later went back and gave them a bottle of Hennessy VSOP.

Arsenal have scored 106 goals this season in all competitions.
Less than 30% of those goals, were from “set pieces”
52% of the set piece goals (15% of the 106) have been from corners.
This means that SEVENTY ONE PERCENT (71%) of Arsenal’s 106 goals have been from open play.
Yet apparently we’ve been reliant on corners this season…
