Would I move to San Diego? No. Too many people with perfect hair, great bodies, but somehow have zero urgency? Everyone looks elite, but no one’s in a rush to do anything. Feels like a permanent Sunday afternoon lol. Fun to visit. Dangerous to stay. Very cool city though!

The Trump administration is truly doing everything it can to whitewash a regime that has launched a war of extermination on our continent — on a scale not seen since WWII. France, Germany, the UK, Italy, and the EU should boycott.

‼️Reuters reports that the U.S. military has begun using the Ukrainian-developed Sky Map command-and-control system at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. Sky Map integrates radar and sensor data into a real-time operational dashboard, helping identify and track aerial threats. It was developed in 2022 by Ukrainian engineers with military ties and supported by Ukraine’s defense innovation program Brave1. Reuters notes that President Trump previously rejected an offer of Ukrainian assistance in drone defense, saying the U.S. did not need it. Neither U.S. nor Ukrainian officials commented on the report. FULL ARTICLE IS HERE 👇 reuters.com/business/aeros…

@SMB_Attorney This is not something that happened to them, they did this. No brooding omnipresence in the sky requires them to use AI and then not check their work product before filing it. This is garden variety lazy-ass lawyering to the tune of $1k plus per hour.

Let me just double click for those of you that don’t know: This is probably the #1 litigation law firm on the planet submitting AI hallucinated cases in a ~$8 billion bankruptcy case. This should be a wake up call to EVERYONE. If it can happen to them, it can happen to you!
SMB Attorney@SMB_Attorney

POV: You just paid S&C, one of the three most expensive and high-powered law firms in the world, $3000 per hour to submit AI slop to the court on your behalf. No one is safe.

Well, looky here. Veronika Loginova, the woman in charge of Russia's anti-doping agency is the common-law wife of Dmitry Kovalev, an FSB colonel who not only works for Russia's doping program but also belongs to the same FSB directorate that that poisoned Alexey Navalny with Novichok in 2020. I suppose you can make this up, but it'd be a hard sell in any Hollywood writers' room. theins.press/en/inv/291614

Only thing shocking about this is how early we’re hearing this. I think ultimately nearly every senior political appointee (he thinks was loyal) at DOJ, DHS, DOD, and the West Wing will get a pardon and lots of folks lower down as well. Gonna be fun watching Vance run in ‘28 defending it all.

BREAKING: Trump promises mass pardons for his staff before leaving office. WSJ reports that in a recent meeting, Trump said he would pardon those “within 200 feet of the Oval Office.”

ZELENSKYY’S response to JD VANCE: Vice President, with all due respect, isn't taking part in negotiations between US, Ukraine, and Russia. Otherwise he would understand the difference between 'scrap of land' and sovereign territory of Ukraine. This important territory is priority from security perspective with strong defensive structures, fortifications, and where about 200,000 people currently live. He would understand that Russia's goal is occupation of Eastern Ukraine in order to prepare a bridgehead for subsequent offensive actions. So, before doing anything, we need to have detailed security guarantees. For now, Ukraine simply does not have security guarantees necessary to talk about other steps. And of course, every square meter of our land is Ukrainian land and, with all due respect to any of our partners, it is definitely not theirs.

@usmntonly The player says this was no excuse so of course half of the keyboard warriors commenting have to scream “that’s no excuse, you bum” as if the player said the exact opposite of what he actually said.

USMNT forward Christian Pulisic admitted that the clash of jersey colors in the USMNT 5-2 loss to Belgium was 'difficult' and that 'everyone was a bit shocked' 🇺🇸🇧🇪 “It (the jerseys) is not an excuse at all because both teams deal with that. But that just can’t happen. It was a bit strange. It was very difficult. I didn’t know until we took off the pre-match shirts and then saw it and everyone was a bit shocked." “It’s difficult. When you a lot of times you get the ball, you look up like and you can’t really like lock in on someone. You only can base it off the color of the shirt. That’s how it works." Belgium’s Onana said, “It was awful. Honestly, it was really difficult on the pitch to (differentiate). It was pretty tough. But at the end of the day we are professionals so you know we have to be able to play under any circumstances.“

This is nitpicky but I actually don’t think it was “outrageous.” It was a bad tweet but it’s not like they said “Hitler was good and we should do more Hitler stuff.” It was just a humorously bad muddled attempt at a sort of literary “what began as a day of fun and frolic” lede

Stunning naïveté from Trump’s most trusted negotiator, who says Putin and Russia — who’ve brazenly lied about the war on Ukraine, murdering dissidents and so, so much more — can be taken “at their word.” “I can tell you that on the call with the president, the Russians said they have not been sharing. That's what they said. We can take them at their word.”
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

QUINTANILLA: Do we think the Russians have shared intel about the location of US military assets, and if so, why would we be giving waivers on Russian oil sanctions? WITKOFF: I'm not an intel officer, so I can't tell you. I can tell you that on the call with the president, the Russians said they have not been sharing. That's what they said. We can take them at their word.

I am the Ukrainian skeleton racer who was wrongfully disqualified from the Olympics last month because of my “Memory Helmet.” Tonight in Milano-Cortina, the Paralympic Games are opening. The Committee has bizarrely permitted Russian soldier-athletes to participate under the Russian flag. The head of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) literally stated that they don’t care about what Russian soldiers did in Ukraine. The problem is that we do care. They are killing Ukrainians on the battlefield, bombing our cities, and committing genocide. Now, with this step of allowing them to compete, the IPC is giving them the opportunity to continue committing genocide by spreading Russian narratives with Russian flags and symbols. They try to manipulate the situation by pointing out that the movement started after World War II, but during World War II the Olympic Games were cancelled, and German athletes were not invited and did not take part in the Games until 1952. It looks like the head of the IPC doesn’t know the history of the Olympic and Paralympic movement at all. What a shame. This whole story is just getting worse and worse.
