@LewisDavidJ @ElmbridgeLibDem The vote just "kicked the can down the road". Taxi & private hire fees haven't increased for 10 yrs - so 33% (or £40-£90 increases) would reduce a £100k+ subsidy from Council Tax payers to Taxi/PH firms. Please remember this missed opportunity in the upcoming budget discussions.

Thanks for taking a lead on this issue. It is important to support local businesses as they recover from the pandemic. @ElmbridgeLibDem members voted to increase the fees and charges.
