New York outbreak substantial & hospitalizations have begun to tick up:Now 1,086 (c/w 10,600 Florida). Deaths up slightly, average 9 per day. Modest NPIs (masking/social distancing in specific situations)& more vaccinations would mitigate this. It doesn't have to get worse.

In contrast to Missouri, we have ongoing good news in #NewYork. 71% of adults 1 shot or more. Overall, record low positive rates inside & outside NYC. Still a few counties w/ongoing outbreaks (not surprisingly, lower vaccination rates there). Get #vaccinated : Save lives.

#Missouri ongoing outbreak. Primarily rural & in counties w/ low vaccination rates (often < 20%). MO has vaccinated (1 or more doses) 55% adults, compared w/65% for US as whole. This is the canary in the coal mine. Ignore the warning at your own peril. Get #Vaccinated.
