Cubans have been jailed, tortured and killed for decades if they anger the communist regime. They’re hungry, without electricity, medicine and much more. These leftists went to praise the communists and draw a mural thinking they solved something. Peak performative leftism. Oh and if you think the US embargo is to blame for the condition of the island, you’re just ignorant. Cuba trades with over 135 countries. Lack of trade isn’t killing them, COMMUNISM IS. As someone who actually had family die there, these people just absolutely disgust me.

When they tell you that communists in America at least have “good intentions.” Remind them that first-world communists went to Cuba, stayed in a 5-star hotel that was the only building with electricity on the island. All to tell their millions of followers the idea that Cuba isn’t as “bad” as people say and that all its problems are the fault of the United States. They went to Cuba not to give a voice to Cubans who have been suffering for 67 years, but to MOCK them.

The influencers don’t care that the Cuban government prioritized their power needs over the hospital. To them, it’s America’s fault in the first place. The influencers don’t see themselves as hypocrites for staying in 5 star hotels. They see it as evidence that Communism can provide luxurious lifestyles. They see more humility as giving Cubans less money. They genuinely think it’s good advertising. The influencers don’t care they’re collaborating with hostile governments. The US is what must be brought down. The influencers truly believe they are the righteous ones. That is how Communists operate.
