My record proves I can do it, and I’m ready for that fight. Wisconsin deserves a strong Democratic candidate, and that’s exactly why I am reentering this race. Now, let’s get to work to move Wisconsin forward.

@tony4WI understands what's required to run, win, and govern in Wisconsin because he's done it. The Governor’s endorsement reflects his confidence that I have the experience, the judgment, and the record to build the coalition we need to defeat Tom Tiffany, and lead effectively from the very first day in office. I am deeply grateful for and honored by his support.
This race isn' t just about who can win a primary. It’s about winning in November. It’s about bringing Wisconsin together. And it’s about delivering results for working families for years to come.

Today, I'm endorsing @DavidcCrowley to be Wisconsin’s next governor.
I'm urging Wisconsinites to join me in uniting and supporting David in the upcoming August 11 primary and the November election.
We’ve got a lot to do and only a short time to do it, folks. Let’s get to work!

When it comes to climate action, I don’t wait. I act.
Under my leadership Milwaukee County enacted its first Climate Action Plan and has already cut emissions by 50%.
As your next governor, I’m ready to take that impact statewide by investing in solar, energy retrofits, and clean infrastructure that creates thousands of union jobs across Wisconsin.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee in a union household. My father was a master electrician. My mother was a Jane of all trades.
Just like many families in Wisconsin, they worked hard. But just like many families, they struggled with addiction and mental health issues.
Growing up, I learned that when systems fail, families pay the price.
Throughout my career, I've looked for ways to do things differently, bring people together, and deliver results that improve people's lives. That's what leadership looks like, and that's what Wisconsinites need from their next governor.
