Finally got my handle on here 🥺 Someone using it to impersonate me was the reason they verified my account back in 2015, but I was never able to actually get it. Finally unified across every platform.

@liveoptimistic @KennethLayton13 Yeah if you use their natural processing mode it’ll be a lot closer. Cuts out a lot of the computational tone mapping

@harii_07 @KennethLayton13 The point of the image is that phones raise the shadows and lower the highlights to make everything a mid-tone, which means no depth

@Davidimel @KennethLayton13 Isn’t this down to image processing tho primarily? Even if not as good as film I’m guessing with something like moment the iPhone can get a lot closer

@SarveshBheekhun @mattcassinelli @verge @Google They can develop against it for TestFlight right now, but yes they’ll have to wait for the full SDK to push to people’s phones! App intents aren’t new but there are a crapload of new entity and intent schemas that are locked behind the iOS 27 SDK to give Siri much more control

@Davidimel @mattcassinelli @verge @Google Just read it, great piece! I’ve seen app intents start working in beta 3 last week for third-party apps, pretty exciting! Would devs really have to wait for the iOS 27 SDK to go fully out of beta before integrating with Siri? App Intents and exposing data to Spotlight isn’t new

@Davidimel Yes and that’s why it would never be worth it for me unless I was like a company or something. I understand they want to avoid people paying for one month to get the handle but they could for example after 3 years of continuous subscription to give the handle for life
