Not that I am aware of. Can always consult with your PCP about it but most are not up to date or know nutrition extensively. Used to be thought to impact kidney function, but that is only in large doses I believe. I have taken it for like 10+ years daily with no issues. I just use powder and mix in a drink but they make capsule pills or gummies as well.
