1. Tobi Bakre. A natural. That man will stay on the screen for a long time. Btw this is the softest he has ever acted in a movie and he killed it. His tears got me emotional and I was glad he proved loyalty despite being irresponsible.
2. Ibrahim chatta did so amazing well. I expected loyalty from him, but I won’t blame him for attempting to sell the car since the family were already selling them.
3. Funke Akindele murdered every single role. She once again proved why she is the GOAT. Her betraying her sister by owning a house was enough to tell she would do more damage. She was very good at gaslighting.
4. Destiny Etiko and Debo k!lled every single scene. It barely felt like a movie. Destiny’s constant crying made me emotional. Family isn’t by blood but by loyalty.
5. This is my first time watching Vee on screen and she did amazingly well. Hope to see her more on screen. She bodied her character and she was funny.
6. Scarlet Gomez did perfectly well. As the main character she delivered beyond expectations. Being good always gets you used. She was surrounded by users and a very few loyal people.
6. Uzor has always been a natural. Hurts me he had to d!e in the character. He stood by his bestie till his demise.
7. Kamo state is crazy and funny. He did absolutely well. That guy is a born Agbero
8. The watoni twins did absolutely well. Hope they get more screen time. I called them ibeji Oran in the character cos they were clearly possessed.
Behind the scene was a classic. Thumbs up to Funke Akindele again 👏👏

One thing that means so much to me is working with actors who are deeply committed to their craft.
When artistic direction meets that level of dedication, the result is the kind of authenticity we can all truly connect with while watching BEHIND THE SCENES.
#BehindTheScenes is still streaming on #KavaTV and #Netflix.

🚨 BREAKING: Wireless Festival will keep Kanye West as its headliner
Melvin Benn, the Managing Director of Festival Republic, said:
"I am a deeply committed anti-fascist and have been all my adult life. I lived on a kibbutz for many months in the 1970’s that was attacked on October 7th, am pro Jew and the Jewish state, while being equally committed to a Palestinian state.
"Having had a person in my life for the last 15 years who suffers from mental illness, I have witnessed many episodes of despicable behaviour that I have had to forgive and move on from. If I wasn’t before, I have become a person of forgiveness and hope in all aspects of my life, including work.
"What Ye has said in the past about Jews and Hitler is as abhorrent to me as it is to the Jewish community, the Prime Minister and others that have commented and - taking him at his word - to Ye now also.
"Ye’s music is played on commercial radio stations in this country. It is available via live streams and downloads in this country without comment or vitriol from anyone and he has a legal right to come into the country and to perform in this country. He is intended to come in and perform. We are not giving him a platform to extol opinion of whatever nature, only to perform the songs that are currently played on the radio stations in our country and the streaming platforms in our country and listened to and enjoyed by millions.
"Forgiveness and giving people a second chance are becoming a lost virtue in this ever-increasing divisive world and I would ask people to reflect on their instant comments of disgust at the likelihood of him performing (as was mine) and offer some forgiveness and hope to him as I have decided to do"

In 2024, when I visited Stamford Bridge for the first time, I saw an old friend. I was happy to see a familiar face and almost wanted to ask how I could also get a job at Chelsea. Before I could say anything, he started explaining that he was just doing the work on the side. He tried to make it clear that he was bigger than that.
In my mind, I thought: Brother, you don’t have to explain anything to me. It’s honest work. Why do you feel the need to say it’s only something you do on the side?
I think we, Nigerians have been culturally and inherently conditioned to look down on certain job roles and occupations simply because of status. I can’t fully explain it, but I wish we placed more value on labor, especially honest labor.

The way Nigerians bastardize Care Work in the UK 🇬🇧 makes me wonder if classism was transported there too. During my last visit, a friend of mine was so ashamed to open up that he does Care Work. I was really pissed off. As a CARER or HCA, you are a core part of the MDT just as the Nurse or Doctor.

There's no federal holiday for Easter — the most important day in the Christian faith.
@SenEricSchmitt and I think that should change. We’ve introduced a bill to make Easter Monday a federal holiday.
Here's why. 🧵
