Everyday, I have a student who waits for everyone to leave class before saying “God Bless you, Mrs Davila”. When I thanked him for all the blessings he replied, “I’m the one who’s blessed by you everyday.” Middle school kids are the best. (I might have teared up a little)

I don’t want to give homework over the break. I hate packets. I despise reading logs. I don’t normally assign homework bc when they’re not in school, I want them to relax. Parents are asking for work. What are some “assignment” suggestions that are fun, free, and accessible?

I used my @WALKTHRUs_5 PL pack for the first time this week, the slides kicked off some great collaborative discussions around primary maths teaching. I’m loving that I can open the pptx slides in Keynote without any formatting issues - great design work @olicav & @teacherhead!
