The classroom default should be pin-drop silence 🔕 There is time for collaboration, think-pair-shares, discussion and debate When the teacher decides so But the default is silence. That's the only way education can work, and it's how students should enter the room 🚪 #Edchat

If genAI is so "good" then lets put a tag on everything produced with it. Tag your products, tag your writing, hell tag your college diploma. Lets see what the market actually thinks when AI usage is fully disclosed.

@NiaEducational @CurriculumIP You need an ELA program that integrates the reading of science and social studies into ELA (reading and writing) without that integration everything is surface level and true knowledge building/rigor/engagement is lost I don’t see how anyone could fit all of IR into 90 mins

Students told they'd have to teach material recalled ~31% more than those preparing for a test. Nobody actually taught. Just expecting to explain something shifts your brain from passively absorbing to actively organizing

nothing like it

Zohran Mamdani is the perfect manifestation of this. Israel becomes the final expression of colonial Europe, and the Jew is recast not as a victim but as a symbol of enduring Western power. Opposition to Israel thus functions as a continuation of decolonization, a moral conflict that transforms the old fight against empire into a permanent contest between innocence and guilt. zinebriboua.com/p/zohran-mamda…
