@s_imiloluwa @newstart_2024 Probably not just the screen time. Three months is huge development time frame for him at his age as well. He wound have developed as a function of getting older here as well. Many kids can go from not talking to talking in a span of three months

I’m not sure the science behind this. But after my son turned three, he still couldn’t speak properly. 85% of what he said was gibberish. He was trying to communicate but didn’t have the words. Someone advised that we stop letting him watch so much TV (he literally could watch paw patrol the entire day). We did. He now watches TV only on Saturdays and for a very short period. It’s only been three months and he has DRASTICALLY improved. He has become more independent, imaginative (he creates very interesting scenarios like telling me the rug is an ocean and I need to swim to get away from the octopuses 😅, last night he said I was standing in concrete and Rubble would get me out with his jack hammer 😂 etc), expressive - talks about his emotions with the right descriptors (I’m sad, happy, angry etc), starting to use plurals and proper grammar. It is completely remarkable. So, even though I didn’t see this research, from my lived experience, I am 100% sure too much screen time is bad for kids. I didn’t know. I was a busy mom and I thought that was a way to keep him entertained while I did other things. But my friend saved me from almost quite literally damaging my son’s brain.

This MRI study on young kids just exposed something terrifying: They scanned the brains of 60 children aged 3–5 — including 5-year-old Rose — and found interactive screen time is causing measurable loss of white matter in their developing brains. Even just 2 hours a day is linked to impaired neural connectivity, language, and literacy development. Professor Mike Nagel (neuroscientist and father) said his first reaction was simply: “Wow… I was not anticipating seeing anything like that.” We’re physically changing children’s brains before they even start school — and the damage is visible on scans. This one actually unsettled me. I’ve always suspected too much screen time was bad, but seeing real white matter loss in toddlers hits different. Parents of little ones — has this kind of research changed how much screen time you allow?

@milk4210 @AaronLemingNFL Consensus was tyler warren over colton loveland too. You right about that? Consensus was patrick mahomes was third best qb prospect in his class. Consensus is wrong way more than it is right. Especially when were talking about 3 round picks. Lol the hit rates like 25% across nfl

@DavisCollin @AaronLemingNFL You know we have google and AI now to answer questions like this? Hint- I’m right Things like drafting a 25 yr old KR 💯 picks early (Velus) or a LB in the 4th that consensus says is a UDFA (Hippo) rarely works out, as most Bears fans know.

The continued conversation about the consensus board is… misguided. Understanding the purpose of the datapoint is key. Going 30-40 picks against consensus isn’t the issue. Taking guys ranked in the 280s (or not at all) in the 2nd-4th round is very predictive to failure.
Peter Schrager@PSchrags

One big talking point from this Draft is the teams that took their guys and trusted "their" boards vs "consensus". Bears, Rams, Jags, and most notably -- 49ers -- had the largest Deltas between their picks and where the Consensus Big Boards listed. All playoff teams in '25. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@TommyK_NFLDraft @AjFreeman25 @NextGenStats They chose to improve their coverage cause they had guys that were flat footed as hell. I think we were limited on playcalls by personnell in the secondary, mainly our slow ass safeties

In 2025, the #Bears ranked dead last in time to pressure and had the longest average get off time per @NextGenStats. Their response was adding Neville Galimore, Kentavius Street, James Lynch and a 6th round rugby player

@NikkiNic9384 @NFL_DovKleiman I mean she was probably unethical when she was giving washington gm blowjobs for scoops back in 2015. Lol. His wife went on twitter and said so. Somehow it got scooped under the rug. She was right!

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Shannon Sharpe breaks down the difference between Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini's scandal compared to the Ime Udoka scandal. "Dianna Russini does not work for the Patriots. Mike Vrabel does not work for ESPN. Those situations are totally different." Sharpe says this is purely a morality issue.

@NFL_DovKleiman This is exposing Diana as a corrupt journalist who sleeps with people for information. As far as Vrabel, he's right but the Patriots could fire him for being a distraction.

@milk4210 @AaronLemingNFL Proven by whom? Ok show me the proof we keep talking about. I know this season the 5 teams that reached the most for their picks were all playoff teams last season. Our gm told us their pool was smaller than ever before and then he showed us that and we are shocked by it?

@DavisCollin @AaronLemingNFL Consensus isn’t 1 man’s opinion, or 1 teams, it’s a compilation from a lot of experts, some who are tied into the teams. Reaching has been proven to be an awful strategy. Doing the opposite has shown to be effective. Our GM loves to reach & “surprise people.” His words.

@AaronLemingNFL Judging players against lists that dont mean anything and holding real gm draft picks against that standard is hilarious. The actial draft is what a players value is not the "consensus big board". Big boards dont include medicals. 10 guys opinions 10 big boards. Whats consensus?

Illinois legitimately might have been the most overlooked 3-seed in March Madness history. Absolutely NOBODY had Illinois getting to the Final Four. World going to have to pay attention now.

@DavisCollin @Tylow237 He is a rotational piece for sure. Usually good defense lines rotate like 2 guys per position. This season is pretty critical for him tbh. Definitely needs to show more consistency to keep his status with the team. Yeah has performed more like a 3-4 round pick tbh.
