Early start this morning to discuss our report published today on Reforming adult social care. We conclude that government has a long way to go and some significant risks to manage if it is to successfully deliver its reform ambitions.

Two years into its ten-year plan to improve adult social care, government faces numerous challenges, ranging from spending to delivery. It has scaled back the short-term ambitions set out in its December 2021 White Paper. More: nao.org.uk/reports/reform…

@nibsbuses it is not ok that your bus service is consistently late. Number 49 is 30 minutes late picking up this morning. No information on your twitter pages about it either. It’s really not good enough.

@jamesrstanhope @c2c_Rail I had the same problem re not seeing Laindon come up - hadn’t seen the tweet and so ended up joining the long queues to get a paper ticket and missing my train. Not a good start to a Monday morning.

We do apologize for the issues regarding your smartcards this evening. This is an ongoing fault which is being looked at urgently. We are asking customers to load the ticket on to their smartcard in the usual way, but select any station that it is displaying.
