The result of decades of orchestrated dehumanization is that large massacres are referred to as ceasefire violations

Israeli forces shot and killed a 9-year-old girl in northern Gaza today. On Monday, an Israel-backed armed group stormed homes and a school in central Gaza, attempting to abduct civilians, including children. Israeli strikes then hit the area, killing 15 people who had confronted the attackers. On Wednesday, Israel killed a well-known Al Jazeera journalist because he was reporting the news from Gaza. No major aid organization—not the UN, nor any groups operating at scale on the ground—says enough aid is entering Gaza. Gaza authorities say only about 40% of essential aid is getting in. There is a severe shortage of basic medicines and proper shelter. People are dying daily from lack of treatment. Yet the High Representative for the Gaza Board of Peace is publicly celebrating inflated aid figures, without acknowledging these conditions or the ongoing attacks.

602 trucks entered Gaza today with essential supplies for families who have waited too long. This is what scaled access looks like, and it must become the daily baseline, not the exception. This was made possible through intensive engagement by my team, @NCAG and @BoardOfPeace. I am grateful to everyone who made it happen. It is important to sustain these efforts and all sides must honour the ceasefire commitment in full.

⭕️ Israel approves record 34 new West Bank settlements The Israeli cabinet quietly approved the establishment of an unprecedented 34 new settlements in the occupied West Bank in a meeting two weeks ago, according to the Times of Israel and i24 News—the largest single approval of settlements by any cabinet to date. The decision brings the total number of new settlements established or retroactively legalized by the current government since it took office in 2022 to 103. By comparison, only six new settlements were formally approved by Israel in the three decades following the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993. The approval was kept under wraps during the war at the request of the United States according to two officials that spoke to Ynet. All Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank remain illegal under international law.

In an interview yesterday morning at Hot 96, Kelvin Kiarie highlights that while in Singapore, a well wisher spotted him and sponsored him with skates that he used in Benin. He is the only sponsor who is a foreigner that has stood with him so far. We need to support our own 🥲

This was him last year at the World Championship Singapore 2025. He was 18th worldwide still with no support from the ministry of sports. The work continues.

Streamer and commentator Hasan Piker said that “if” Palestinian fighters carried out rapes and sexual violence on October 7, it does not justify genocide against 2 million Palestinians in Gaza. CNN’s Dana Bash finds his remarks deeply objectionable. No major human rights organization — including Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, or the UN Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory — has published findings confirming a single verified rape case from October 7. The narrative was nonetheless amplified aggressively by Western media. CNN played a central role, broadcasting accounts that were later found to be unsubstantiated or fabricated, helping construct the justification framework for what human rights experts, including UN investigators, have called a genocide in Gaza. The pattern employed by Bash has deep colonial roots. Allegations of sexual violence have repeatedly been weaponized to justify collective punishment, lynchings, and mass killing—from the U.S., where false claims were used to legitimize the lynching of Black men, to colonial contexts like Kenya under British rule and apartheid South Africa, where such accusations helped rationalize brutal repression against dehumanized populations seeking freedom and equal rights.
Bobby LaValley@Bobby_LaVallley

CNN's @DanaBashCNN: "Hasan Piker is excusing sexual violence by Hamas terrorists. He also claims Hamas is, quote, 'a thousand times better than Israel.' Hamas is a designated terror organization, not just by the U.S., but by the EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand."
