In <10 years someone will have successfully changed gender to the point where they are medically indistinguishable from someone born as that gender. Down to the chromosomal level. Able to sexually reproduce & have healthy children. To the point where even if you really know what you're looking for at the genetic level it's impossible to be certain one way or the other without prior personal knowledge.

The awful illusion has finally been shattered, with increasing repercussions for the modern-day Mengeles who mutilated children. The obvious truth is that you can change your appearance and dress with varying degrees of success, and I don’t oppose consenting, peaceful adults who do so, but you can never truly turn a man into a woman or a woman into a man.
