🚨 Michael Carrick will stay at Manchester United as permanent manager, confirmed. Direction clear for weeks, plan also approved by Sir Jim Ratfliffe and new deal set to be signed soon. New deal for 2 years plus option to extend or directly 3 years, but no doubts: Carrick says yes and will sign the contract.

@Dawsey72 @YouAreMyArsenal There are not many examples of attacking players holding onto goalies’ arms. There are many examples every game of defenders and attackers holding onto each other. I’m all for reform of the latter, but officials would need to enforce it across the board which they currently don’t

Well he’s already gone toe to toe and beaten some of them so why not. People forget what a clever player and tactician he was so why would that not transfer into his coaching. You can clearly see, even with a poorly balanced squad improvements of certain players, the awareness of space and for are thinking. Let him add to the pieces he’s happy with and he’ll fly.

I grew up watching United and United’s what we need and what we need to be. Since when has a ‘star’ manager ever worked for us? I mean seriously.
Hungry managers or ones who know the fabric of the club are just as fitting. I’d prefer Carrick over everyone who’s available out there.

I’m done arguing about why Carrick shouldn’t be United manager, if you think he should be, you never grew up watching United win titles, #CarrickOut already, because Man United should demand better,but the usual fans are lapping it all up. Be funny when he’s inevitably sacked.

Clear foul on Raya but should have been called as a penalty.

"If more than one offence occurs at the same time, the referee penalises the more serious offence…”
They all occur at the same time. Have the rest of the night off
