@Rory_Shamrock @davidlynchlfc So this is supposed to be a justification for abuse... come on man we can do better.
English

@davidlynchlfc It’s frustration boiling over Dave. Some of it is over the top of course, but fans are totally and utterly frustrated. How can FSG not see what we see
English

The replies to this post back up the piece perfectly. Criticism is fine, as is feeling Liverpool might need a change, but so much of this strays into outright abuse. You wouldn't be surprised if Arne Slot was a little withdrawn on the final day because he has seen this stuff.
Telegraph Football@TeleFootball
'The level of opprobrium that has rained down on Arne Slot has, on many occasions, crossed the line. 'Liverpool fans have always had high standards, but Slot has come under attack in a way that none of his predecessors have done and it is hard not to wonder why the animosity towards him is so intense.' @DKingTelegraph looks at how things have turned so toxic at Liverpool ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

@amjadt25 It's says in your bio that you are an expert. I feel pity for the folks that seek and you give your counsel.

The Islamic regime in Iran has surrendered and accepted the terms. If it breaks them, it will be broken. Increasingly isolated in the region, Trump called Gulf leaders before making his final decision, a sign that the region is now closer to America than before and will play a role in shaping the next steps. What comes next may be even more dangerous for the regime itself: unrest at home, anger in the streets, and calls for change that could erupt as the war comes to an end.
The region, America, and allies such as NATO and the EU may use this pause to prepare for the next phase, now convinced that this regime’s missiles and drones threaten not only Gulf nations, but also the global economy through the Strait of Hormuz.
In this battle, the regime has suffered heavy losses, its navy, aircraft, leadership, soldiers, economy, and strategic capabilities. If there is a next round, it may not survive it.
English

@OneSquirrelArmy And you are who exactly? Your opinion matters to who?
English

I’ll say it again. I was a never Trumper in 2015. I couldn’t stand the guy.
His first term gave me mixed emotions, but ultimately, the smear attack of Justice Kavanaugh forced me to vote for Trump in 2020.
I stayed up and watched the election. It was absolutely rigged. I watched the disaster of the Biden “presidency” and the faux anointed of Kamala without a primary.
I enthusiastically voted for Trump in 2024. He has absolutely earned my trust and I’ve realized how much BS I believed from the media and spouting mouths about him.
I have no clue why he’s not wiping his ass with Thune right now, but he’s holding off for some reason. I don’t like how expensive gas is, but Iran has been at war with us for decades and we finally have a president and an administration with brass billiard balls to kick their teeth in.
This president is the best of my lifetime. All the podcastlandia mouthpieces are desperate for attention. Trump is desperate for results.
He’s got my confidence. He’s earned it.
English

@HouseGOP There is a cold place in hell customized for you
English

Ivanka Trump was allegedly targeted in an assassination attempt tied to Iranian terror groups. Thankful Ivanka remains safe right now.
The failed assassination plot shows Iran’s true colors (and why we must make sure they never have a nuclear weapon). They hate America and they clearly see President Trump as the man standing between them and death to America. That’s why they’re targeting his daughter. It’s sick.

@Nick___Collins The problem with having a slow day... Every one turns into Fabrizio
English

@RobGutmann So who would you rather manage us now genius? 🤔
English

Those not interested in changing LFC manager now are just being perverse. There’s not a status club on the planet in any era that wouldn’t make the switch. And the trajectory that suggests LFC wont make the change is seemingly being governed by men who have no loyalty to the cause in the immediate, never mind medium term, future.
English

@MelissaReddy_ @Whelo777 Yet his is the one that has rocked the boat and thrown the team, manager and club under the bus.
English

@Whelo777 He wasn’t the only player to feel emotionally moved enough to post after that performance against Aston Villa. His was the longest, but it usually always is. Read the piece.
English

Mohamed Salah is lambasted for not speaking enough, then when he does, is slammed for not doing it at the time and in the manner his critics demand.
He is not a performing monkey. He has given absolutely everything he could to the game - and for just shy of a decade, to Liverpool.
Why is his love for the club always questioned? Why can’t he speak as a fan of Liverpool, which he is?
Salah FC or Misperception FC?

@MelissaReddy_ When you were employed as a sports journalist at your previous place of work, I am sure you didn't like or agree with everything and policy there...Yet we never saw you wash your dirty linen in public. You can disagree with your superiors but how you do it matters.
English

@Sabres54 @JeremyUsbourne1 Since he is the manager we should blame him for Isaks injury and while at it let's blame him for Soboz slip yesterday
English

@JeremyUsbourne1 Who else is the blame he his the manager he picks the team he does the tactics he makes the subs so who else is it .. the fact you say we bossed the game makes me wonder what the hell you were watching... The blame falls at slots feet ...
English

@RobGutmann What about the squad? It's easy to pin this on the manager but we need to ask tough questions if the players...why are we giving them a get out of jail card?
English

@pennant83 Well he is staying according to what we hear... can we move on from this, your rants are getting annoying after every game. Tell us something new, analyze the game and give us something we (non football mind) could have missed
English

@davidlynchlfc @j_spaceman It's a freak of a season why are we getting worked up for things we have no control over?
English

@j_spaceman Well, yes. Nobody’s blaming him, but writing a season off when you’ve spent £125m is pretty far from ideal, no?
English

You have to hope that the fresh start a new season provides can change things for Alexander Isak, but it’s gone about as poorly as it could so far for a player who cost £125m. For that sort of money, you should be getting guaranteed return.
Liverpool FC@LFC
Our team to take on Aston Villa 👊 #AVLLIV
English

@FabrizioRomano Come on @FabrizioRomano that was not the context. The least you can be is fair to the man. He might have his flaws but what you are doing here by cutting out context is unprofessional. This is engagement farming
English

@davidlynchlfc Meanwhile we are obsessed with Arne slot leaving but we ignore the elephant in the room... Squad depth and quality. Villa had the luxury of calling on Sancho, Douglas Luiz and Barkley ... and they went up a gear in the second half.
English

@Inkedandunique @JamesPearceLFC @Ohiwere_ He said "we" that means the team and the team includes the managerial staff. How you interpreted this as only the players taking the fall is baffling. Who said Slot is not to blame or is exonerated from this mess?
English

The boos were directed to slot - why are players being left to think it was their performance. Granted they’ve been up and down but to totally allow this narrative to run that Slot is void of any blame is shocking. End of a bad season and we should be building them up and that includes from inside the club!
English

Joe Gomez on the Anfield boos: "We get it, we understand it. For us older boys who have experienced so many good times here it does hurt. If it didn't then you shouldn't still be here. We want to make it right.
"It's just a reaction to the whole year, and that's fair enough. The fans pay their hard-earned money to come and watch us and they're entitled to show their frustration."
English

@ChloeBloxam I think it’s probably just to manage him, 70mins at prem level is tough on a young kid. It’s annoying for the fans though after seeing everyone else do nothing!
English

Just for my thoughts, I thought he was injured but if that’s not the reason then me heads on mars
Chloe bloxam@ChloeBloxam
When your being booed for your subs, it’s not a great sign for your future is it
English

@ChloeBloxam It might be that he could not do the full 90. In the latter stages he tired and he was having 2-3 players on him when he got the ball.
