@DaysofNoahGen6 I don't see it .... and I really need to be able to see it . Snakes are a problem where I'm at. County raked the ditches awhile back and I had a HUGE rattlesnake in my front yard. Have had copperheads before too. Thank you.

@DaysofNoahGen6 sure I'm all about low-maintenance, but for nitrogen-fixers you gotta chop as much of the material back in and leave it there.

Growing peanuts can improve your soil by both adding nitrogen and reducing impaction. They also suppress weeds and provide an abundance of fiber and protein. Tips for growing: -Choose a sunny location. The sunnier the better. -Plant them 1-2 inches deep about 8-10 inches apart in well draining soil. -Water 1-2 times daily until they have sprouted well (1-2 inches tall) and then cut back to 1-2 times per week moving forward. They thrive on neglect and take about 5-6 months from seed to harvest. Some great varieties include Jumbo, Valencia and Spanish Red. Credit: thezenhenandthehoneybee

@rock_taster I don’t till at all most of the time. I only plant what my family can eat so i just pull and shake and let the rain do the rest

@DaysofNoahGen6 I assume you need to till all that material back into the soil to get any of the benefits?

Gardening Tip: Are your seedlings struggling and you can’t figure out why? 🌱🤔 Humidity domes are great for speeding up germination, but if you leave them on too long it can create problems. That constant moisture can lead to algae on your soil and even increase the risk of damping off. Once your seedlings start sprouting, start removing the dome or opening the vents to give them some airflow. When everything has sprouted, take the dome off completely and run a fan to dry the soil surface and help prevent disease. Credit: theplanttechie
