@Usmanashafe Nancy Isime has been in the industry longer and on a broader scale. She debuted around 2011 (Echoes) and built her name as an OAP, TV host, and event presenter before fully cementing her acting career. Uche Montana only broke into mainstream Nollywood around 2015–2017 (Hush).

I really thought Uzoamaka Power would win the Trailblazer award this year at the AMVCA and this is not to discredit Uche Montana at all because she has been putting in work and she deserves her flowers, but honestly, Looking at the trajectory of that category over the years, she just seemed like the perfect fit to me. From acting to writing and the kind of artistic storytelling she brings to the industry, you can clearly see the originality and intentionality in her work. For me personally, she embodies what a “Trailblazer” currently means in Nollywood.

as a tailor, I hated the fact that Monica couldn’t even use the sewing machine properly. It annoyed me so much.
No one is expecting you to be perfect but study a bit about the profession you’re playing.
This is why I keep saying kdrama will always be superior because their attention to details to every single profession they’re acting as is top notch
