I was trying to be optimistic, but with this second surgery…I can’t look past that.

Giants WR Malik Nabers underwent a second surgery on his knee to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness, according to sources. I'm told the second surgery took place "multiple weeks ago" and it was described as a "clean up." This second surgery isn't expected to impact Nabers' recovery timeline. The team is still hoping the No. 1 WR will be ready for the opener. Nabers first underwent ACL and meniscus surgery on Oct. 28.

@drewmet_FF @DynastyZack I highly doubt that’s all he will be asked to do especially spending that high of draft capital. He’s gonna catch passes too, he’s got one of the lowest drop rates last year, the blocking is just a plus because the 49ers like to run the ball.

@DynastyZack Hard to find immediate production for any rookie but with the draft capital and teams comments; I feel he’s got a better shot than most fliers. A lot of those SF pass catchers are older and injury prone. The situation could be a lot worse for Stribling.

I dont hate stribling i think hes a decent flier in the late 2nd early 3rd rd in dynasty rookie drafts. But i dont see immediate production opportunities with mike evans ricky pearsall (who the niners spent a 1st rd pick on) christian kirk, christian mccaffrey, and george kittle all getting targets

@DynastyZack They spent a 33rd pick, love his abilities, will see the field and you don’t think it translates to passing with their current WR core? It’s not that great. Definitely feel his opportunities are way better than many other rookies who for fantasy purposes were drafted mid 2nd
