@SkyShark775 I don't think I'd do either. Trying to be optimistic about both Odunze and Henderson, and I adore Warren, but Love's prospect profile is pretty awesome. I'd want to keep him and hope he's as good as advertised.

@Fitz_FF Would you take Rome and T. Warren for Jeremiah Love and Chig? What about Treveyon and Warren for Love and Chig?

@adzbutton Eight dynasty leagues and close to 20 redraft leagues. So many weekly conflicts of interest that I rarely track matchups in leagues unless it's a critical late-season game or a playoff game. The more leagues you're in, the more it dulls the emotions with wins and losses.

@Fitz_FF Just curious to know how many dynasty leagues you are in and how do you feel or cope when in one matchup you own a certain player but then might be versing that same player in another leagues matchup in the same week?

@DynWarRoom I'm already there if the price is right. Just a little nervous that it's been 2 years and we haven't seen him live up to the draft capital yet. Still trying to be optimistic though.

@Fitz_FF Exactly right. Scheme crowding is lazy analysis and usage is earned. The foot injury residual and route efficiency are legit process flags. What's your YPRR threshold before you start buying dip on a skill WR like Rome?

Just got back from the @FSGAtweets Summer Conference in Philadelphia. It was great catching up with friends and colleagues, hearing from some great speakers, and learning more about where the fantasy sports and gaming industry is headed. Before heading home, I made time to visit the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and Congress Hall with @WillTigheFF. Always cool to experience a little of our nation’s history while traveling with friends.

@GWTTKBPodcast That’s absolutely fair. Penix may have been a better fit for Rome’s game. More willing to rip throws outside the numbers on the first read and probably better at it.

Guys Who Think They Know Ball
Respectfully, I think the YPRR concern points at the wrong thing here, and I actually dug into it. Rome’s separation last year was 1.64 yards. That sounds alarming until you realize Tee Higgins ran 1.55 in the same kind of deep role, and nobody’s out here calling Higgins a bad player. Tight separation is just what being a boundary X looks like. You’re running into contested windows by design, so low separation is a feature of the role, not a talent flag. Here’s the actual tell, though: Rome’s yards per target (7.34) was the worst in his entire role tier, even though his separation was middle-of-the-pack for that same tier. That combo (gets open a normal amount, still can’t turn it into yards) isn’t a receiver problem. That’s a target-quality problem. That’s what it looks like when a QB is throwing you contested, low-percentage, off-schedule balls in an offense that finished near the bottom of the league in just about everything. And that’s the whole issue with leaning on YPRR here: it can’t separate “bad receiver” from “Caleb struggling to hit him” It just sees that the yards didn’t happen and assumes it’s Romes fault. But Rome ran a 22% target share and a 33% air-yards share. The role was genuinely elite. The feeds were garbage. So to me, the bet was never on Rome getting better. It’s on Caleb’s throws getting better, better target quality, and that number moves, and it moves a lot. The foot’s a fair concern and I won’t pretend to have an answer on it. But the YPRR? I don’t think it’s saying what people think it’s saying.

@halfPPRdude @FantasyPros Tough call for sure, and I'm excited about Burden, but positional scarcity is a good argument for Cam. Not many RBs with the potential to average more than 15 touches a game.

@RexMeshelle I personally wouldn't make Trade 1. I like Daniels too much, and throwing in Lemon/Tyson at 1.04 seems excessive. More amenable to Trade 2, which is perfectly fair.

@Fitz_FF 12T SF, TEP, went 23-5 last two years. Looking to improve: What do you think of these trade offers? #1: Daniels/1.04/Royal for Josh Allen #2: Willis/1.04/Tee Higgins for Josh Allen Other owner has Burrow

@bwiz90 Then I might hang onto that 3rd, even though I like Noel. This sets up as a year where he can get a foothold in that offense but maybe not make huge gains in dynasty value barring a wave of injuries in front of him.

@Fitz_FF Do you have the splits on his YPRR before and after the injury? I wonder if his foot (despite the permanent damage) is back to a place that is closer to the start of the season than end of the season.

@bwiz90 Fair price imo. Might depend on whether it's a projected early, mid or late 3rd. Mid or late, I'm on board.
