This national census truly marks the beginning of a new era. For the first time, the entire process is being conducted digitally, empowering every citizen with the ability and convenience to record their household details independently. It is a highly secure, accurate,and user-friendly process. The self-enumeration period varies across different States and Union Territories. Citizens can visit the official portal se.census.gov.in and complete their self-enumeration as per their respective region. Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan filled out the self-enumeration form online for Census 2027, at Uprashtrapati Bhavan today. Census 2027, undertaken in alignment with the Government’s Digital India initiative, leverages extensive digital technologies to enhance the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of data collection and dissemination. The Vice President encouraged all residents to participate in the self-enumeration process and submit their household details online during the period notified by their respective State/UT through the official web portal: se.census.gov.in The Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India, Shri Mritunjay Kumar Narayan, was present during the enumeration procedure. @PMOIndia @HMOIndia @CensusIndia2027
