I got my appointment/employment letter for a job I applied for in Lagos State. The salary is 600k per month.
I have a business I own and run myself in Anambra State, which is currently worth over 1.8 million naira.
In order for me to be able to fully relocate to Lagos State for that job, I need to sell off my business to fund my relocation.
Now I am in a total dilemma.
My business is showing so much potential,
and that job will sets me up for lots of opportunities.
Please, what’s your advice for me? I am so confused.

I went to this roadside gas vendor close to our area this evening to refill my gas.
When I got there, I noticed he had increased the price from the ₦1,600 he sold it to me the last time I came, to ₦2,000.
So I told him the price was too high because when he was selling for ₦1,600, the actual gas station was selling for ₦1,100… meaning the difference was too much.
Omo!
The man got offended immediately and told me that if I can’t buy, I should go to the gas station nah!
Meanwhile, the gas station is very far from our area. Bike fare to and fro is ₦800 because one trip is already ₦400.
So, I stood there thinking about it for some minutes and later realized that since I already had ₦2,000 with me, I could actually go to the gas station.
Because even if they had increased their own price, the highest should be around ₦1,200. So I would still have enough money for transport back home.
And besides, their meter completes pass this roadside vendor’s own...
Okay!
Then, I stopped a bike and he carried me to the gas station.
Only for me to get there and discover that the gas station was selling for ₦1,550, and not even ₦1,200 oo.
I just stood there for some minutes thinking about my life.
The man there now asked me how many kg I wanted and I told him, “Put 1kg.”
He filled it and I paid.
After paying, I asked him if I could sit on one nearby chair there and he agreed.
About 10 minutes later, he came back and asked me why I was still sitting there… if I was waiting for my bike man.
Lol!
Waiting for my bike man ke!?
Me wey dey gather strength for the journey ahead.
Because na trek I go trek dey go house like this o 😭

A man ŵho earns 74k every month and gives his wife 30k and still save 30 monthly deserves maximum respect.
Managing 14, 000 monthly as a man is insane.
