@Cackalacman 100% agree with you. Many people suffer with chronic pain, so pain management is not an excuse. He needs help because he will eventually alter his, his family’s, or someone else’s life with his poor decisions. Much respect to AK, Mike Sorrentino, etc for seeking rehabilitation

In many ways I feel sorry for Tiger Woods. Then many I don’t. He’s not a great person. It’s pretty documented. He was an insanely gifted golfer. Maybe the most gifted we’ve ever seen. He lived his life in private by design as much as he could. That sheltered him. He’s a socially awkward human. He doesn’t like being out there as an athlete like others. The shutting off from society that he does really isolates himself as well. His Father dying was his straw. He never came back. He knows he has a problem. He can’t not know that. He’s without doubt in daily pain. Hurting chronically has to be psychologically taxing. I pray I’m never there. He refuses to turn to anybody for help. Likely to maintain his privacy. The ones around him fear losing their job/relationship if they dare say anything to him. See Charles Barkley and Jordan and others in 2009. He completely alienated his best buds to go into isolation and deal with his stuff internally. You can only internalize problems for so long. He’s done it 2 decades maybe his whole life. It’s just wild that a man with the resources he has continues to find himself in these positions and circumstances. It’s truly sad one of the most iconic human beings to ever entertain the masses is where he is with his life. While it’s easy to take shots and he’s earned them. It’s his fault. I just can’t bring myself to do it. He’s got kids. They love him and they are not sheltered from their father’s problems. I’m really really sad for the guy. I’m really sad as a dad for his kids.

@Rickie_Tracker I’m just surprised someone that hits thousands of balls weekly is affected by external noise. How do professional golfers not learn to tune out anything outside their head?

I remember just a few years ago there were so many people here on X, even some that claimed to have great “sources” 😉, that claimed that LIV Golf wasn’t going to exist beyond 2024. The reality is, LIV has never had so much momentum.

@chambleebrandel When I watch any professional sports, it’s solely for it’s entertainment value, nothing else. Not really sure why LIV is not a competition and the PGAT is. You simply can’t see or don’t want to see a professional golf experience existing outside the country club gates

Amazing to see how easy it is for someone who is being manipulated to help legitimize an oppressive regime look like a conquering hero. The sole purpose of LIV is not to elevate golf or professional golfers, but the quiet replacement of conscience with what looks like competition.

Have never seen a train of autographs like I just witnessed Bryson DeChambeau sign in South Africa. People ripping shirts off their backs. Shoes off their feet. Signing umbrellas, hats, backpacks, cellphone cases, balls, gloves.

@ryanmouquegolf Just providing a quick psa that may/may not apply to some folks but will to many. Stop placing your wallet in your back pocket. Sitting on that for years will mimic a back injury or cause low back issues. Unless traumatic, most back issues are caused by minor repetitive actions

@De84119Jr @PilotAlan1 @LouStagner Agree completely about divots but how would a divot be defined? Fresh/no sand, sand filled, sand filled with grass starting to grow back in, fairway only or general area? If all those are considered divots some of these pros would be saying all their lies are in a divot.

@PilotAlan1 @LouStagner Weren’t wedges used to avoid hitting other players balls? So i say use them. But the ahole in me says if you cant get relief from a divot, no relief from a bunker in your line, putt around it, if you’re a pro and know where the flag is, hit it to that side, or suffer consequences

@LouStagner If you put a bunker on the green, then the player HAS to hit a wedge. Cause and effect.

@joshlukenichols Assuming the feedback he wants from the band is slight resistance, yellow is light, to help him extend his arms. As long as he performs reps with and without aid he should be perfectly fine. Simply trying to create muscle memory. This works in neuro physical therapy

@GOLF_com Augusta should be reserved for real golf, not a casual round with grandkids. Is he trying to ruin the integrity and history of the game and Augusta National. Who does he think he is wearing all black anyway?

Gary Player says Augusta National denied his request to play a round with his three grandsons. “I have been an ambassador for Augusta for all these years, yet they won’t let me have one round of golf in my life with my three grandsons." Player has served as an honorary starter at the Masters since 2012. “My grandsons are dying to know about their grandfather’s episodes on that golf course ... All the golf courses that have hosted the Open, the US Open and the PGA would oblige, but they won’t do it at Augusta." Should Augusta allow the 3x Masters champion one round with his grandsons or do you agree with the club’s decision. (H/T @GolfMonthly)

@PGATUOR Only time I hit full wedge shots is when I have a helping wind and I need the ball to land and stop. I feel the wind will secure my distance and the loft i need for the landing will also be achieved. I fear 1/2 and 3/4 wedge shots with wind behind me as more potential to hurt me

@itisonlygolf @reedsw0rld What is a real vs a fake golf event? Both LIV and PGA events to include WM have a winner who raises a trophy and gets a paycheck. Does one event save lives, use nonconforming equipment, have a national holiday….or are both a form of entertainment? Amateur and YT golf ??

@reedsw0rld It was once a real golf event. Now a drink fest where everyone pisses in each other. But it is hilarious that Liv haters cry circus but then pretend the WMO Phx is next to the majors. They have zero shame. The WMO is the biggest circus in golf. Period!

@SadBadgerFan @steelygolf My question is what is professional golf? If it’s simply being one of the best at your sport and getting paid to do it, then LIV IS PROFESSIONAL GOLF. Once you insert your feelings, everything becomes subjective. Amateur golf and YT golf are also entertaining, who cares

@Cackalacman @ChuckRehm4 Yes now I follow! Intervals are the best way imo to burn fat, conserve muscle and potentially build muscle. No more long distance running for me, solely walk, jog, sprint for 40-60 minutes at min incline with better results than running forever

Zone 3 running puts you in a more glucose necessary state. It uses carbs for fuel. If carbs are not present the body goes into gluconeogenesis which is using amino acids to create new glucose for itself. That comes from muscle protein. Zone 2 the body oxidizes body fat for fuel then turns to carbs if needed. By not using carbs the body stays in a more protein sparing state to build muscle by not using up carbs for fuel. Instead zone 2 uses fat. Anybody running for 60-90 is chewing up muscle like skittles. It's why long distance runners are generally ultra thin and low testosterone.
