@Badgers_44 @bheadr75 You’re right. Marquette had a terrible year. I was impressed by the Badgers this season. You guys had a great Big 10 Tournament. I had you pegged for two wins in the NCAA Tourney. Didn’t anticipate a Badger choke.
English

@DeCosterKen @bheadr75 and Marquette was one of the worst teams in CBB this year… Yikes
English

@Badgers_44 @bheadr75 I answered a question. I understand you being salty after your team choked.

@bheadr75 @Badgers_44 Marquette advanced to the Sweet 16 in 2024.

@Badgers_44 Have either of them had a sweet sixteen appearance in the last decade?
English

@ScottWSeattle @MatthewNichol5 The reason I will always remember the date is because it was my 18th birthday.
English

@DeCosterKen @MatthewNichol5 Thanks. I thought it was on the 4th of July 1976. But it was during the bicentennial year.
English

@ScottWSeattle @MatthewNichol5 Rick Monday saved the American flag at Dodger Stadium on April 25, 1976.
English

@MatthewNichol5 That actually happened in Dodger Stadium in LA on the July 4, 1976 bicentennial. Monday got a standing ovation from the Dodger fans and Dodgers themselves.

@baseballinpix Saw several games at Old Comiskey Park including the last game ever played there on 9-30-90.

@hooltras1944 But he did see the Packers choke away double digit leads at Soldier Field twice in less than a month. 😂
English

He’s never seen Bears QB throw 4k yards 😭

English

@JacobMorley Bears have beaten the Packers 3 of the last 4 games.
English

Bears still don’t have a 4k passer.

My aunt woke up from a 13 year coma !!!!!

@takealitletrip @nettermike There was also a widespread rumor that Jerry Mathers was killed in Vietnam.
English

@nettermike Somehow in the late 70’s in high school there was a rumor he was Alice Cooper.

When he wasn't kissing up to the Cleavers or picking on the Beaver, Ken Osmond -- better known as Eddie Haskell -- was serving his country in the Army Reserves.
Osmond actually reduced his role the final two seasons in order to join the Army Reserves.
He would go on to become a police officer with the LAPD in 1970, serving 18 years as a motorcycle officer.
In 1980, he was shot three times chasing a suspect; his Kevlar vest and belt buckle saved him, though trauma led to depression and retirement in 1988. Amazingly, he also survived a helicopter crash.
Osmond later reprised Eddie in The New Leave It to Beaver and guest roles. Sadly, he died May 18, 2020, at 76 from COPD and cardiopulmonary arrest.
Ken wasn't some Hollywood phony; he was the real deal. Rest in Peace, hero!

@Champs13x @DaBearsTakeOver Daddy lost a playoff game versus the Bears.

@John66184857616 @VanderlansJim Reed played 69 of 82 regular season games for the Knicks in 72-73. He averaged 27 minutes, 11 points and 8.6 rebounds a game. Reed was also mvp of the 1973 NBA Finals. Gianelli played in 52 games that season, averaging 3.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in about 10 minutes per game.
English

@VanderlansJim Phil Jackson and John Gianelli were the Knicks primary two Centers when they won their Second Championship 🏆 in 1973 , Willis Reed was on the roster but his knees were done

@OleTimeHardball Yaz will always be my favorite Red Sox player. Dwight Evans is my second favorite.

@NevinsCory @BeatlemaniaUK One of my favorite Beatles songs. Lennon dismissed it as “Another of my throwaways. Fancy paper around an empty box.”
English

@BeatlemaniaUK Lennon singing Twist and Shout was spectacular.
