Multiplayer Ranked Play Update: Today, we released a backend matchmaking update that adjusts how we prioritize Rank over Search Times when forming Ranked Play matches for Iridescent / Top 250 players. This adjustment was made as a direct result of player feedback regarding matchmaking and team balancing after our previous posts. We've already observed a noticeable difference in these matches, and are seeing tighter matches for Iridescent competitors. We'll continue to monitor the impact of these changes over the course of the weekend, as well as player feedback. Note: While this change is intended to promote tighter matches for Iridescent / Top 250 players, it is not a guarantee that all matches will be Iridescent-only moving forward. Keep the feedback coming. #GLHF

Reminder: Upon entering Ranked Play, players agree to compete with integrity. Any and all forms of cheating or SR boosting may result in permanent Ranked Play bans, and can also result in permanent Black Ops 7 and Warzone account bans.

We're making some changes to our Event structure going forward based on player feedback, starting with the "Hunt or Be Hunted" Event later this week. To create a more level playing field, this next Event will run from 10 am Friday to 10 am Monday (PST), when most people are available to play. Beyond Season 02, we’re planning a wider variety of future Events, including more challenge-based Events, the next Camo Event in the style of Escalation Directive, and more.
