One of the simplest and most effective ways to stay safe in crypto is something called the TAP method, often referred to as the three-address protocol. READ THIS ⚠️ The idea is straightforward: don’t put all your risk into one wallet. Instead, you layer security by using three wallets, each with a specific role. Wallet 1: The Hot Wallet This is your day-to-day wallet. You use it to interact with websites, dApps, mints, swaps, and signatures. It’s the most exposed wallet and should always be treated as disposable. Only keep what you’re willing to risk here. Wallet 2: The Medium Wallet This wallet acts as a buffer. Assets move back and forth between the hot wallet and this wallet as needed. If the hot wallet is compromised, your entire stack isn’t immediately at risk. This extra step alone dramatically reduces damage. Wallet 3: The Cold Wallet This is long-term storage. No daily interactions. No random signatures. Ideally offline or hardware-secured. This wallet should almost never touch dApps directly. The most important rule: each wallet must have its own distinct seed phrase. If all three wallets share the same seed or are derived from the same root, you’ve gained nothing. One compromise means everything falls. The real danger comes when: • the same seed is reused • all wallets connect to the same sites • approvals aren’t separated • convenience overrides caution That’s how small mistakes turn into total losses. Layered security isn’t about paranoia. It’s about acknowledging reality: attacks happen, links get clicked, frontends get compromised, people make mistakes. By separating risk across wallets, you turn a potential catastrophe into a contained incident. Now take this one step further. Imagine a wallet where your assets aren’t just separated by addresses, but where your most important funds live inside a 2FA-protected vault, built directly into the wallet itself. Even if a signature slips through, even if a hot wallet is compromised, withdrawals still require an additional, independent confirmation. That’s what real defense-in-depth looks like. Security in crypto isn’t one tool or one trick. It’s layers, separation, and intentional friction. Layer your security - and you drastically reduce the chance of tragedy.

This week sucked tbh. There were good things that happened too, Axos is going well & my family and I are healthy and happy but… some things just destroy me. I think there were 5 friends who got drained that I know. Need a reset. Need people to stop getting rekt.
