DES COULEURS INATTENDUES SUR LA LUNE : L'ÉQUIPAGE D'ARTEMIS II SURPRIS
L'équipage de la mission Artemis II a fait des observations surprenantes lors de son survol de la Lune. Loin du gris monochrome habituel, les astronautes ont rapporté des teintes de brun et de vert à la surface lunaire.
La spécialiste de mission, Christina Koch, a souligné l'aspect brun dominant : « Plus je regarde la lune, plus elle est brune et brune », a-t-elle déclaré lors d'une transmission de la NASA.
L'astronaute canadien Jeremy Hansen a, quant à lui, repéré des tons verdâtres distincts près du plateau d'Aristarque, un cratère d'impact majeur.
L'équipage a précisé que cette coloration particulière semble unique à cette zone spécifique et n'a pas été observée ailleurs sur cette face de la Lune.
Ces observations directes apportent un éclairage nouveau et intrigant sur la géologie et la composition de la surface de notre satellite naturel.
