It wasn’t the most successful weekend on the pitch unfortunately but it was a pleasure to welcome Kent & Ireland legend @niallnobiobrien who stopped by for a drink and a chat on Sunday!

@dobbin59 @selvecricket @PictureSporting He’s still our president now. An absolute gentleman & a legend of Kent cricket.

@selvecricket @PictureSporting John Shepherd played a massive part in the successful Kent team of the 60s-70s. Very popular for his hard hitting and a great swing bowler who never gave less than 100%. A nice guy, very friendly he was Kent President about 10 years ago.

Further to the earlier post of John Shepherd and a couple of other non household names from way back, I had feedback telling me to "stop wasting time with people nobody had heard of". Do followers want this feed to concentrate only on big names or continue as is?
