Today, 69 B2R Farms Fellows are stationed in local sectors across Rwanda. Each incoming group of Fellows undergoes intensive Foundations for Farming training at B2R Farms' Land of Goshen, where they develop their skills as farm managers and FFF Trainers.

Our highest priority is to help the Rwandan government successfully implement the adoption of conservation agriculture and become food self-sufficient in its basic staple crops by the end of 2025. See the stats from last year on how the country is adopting FFF methods.

Our team of experienced, multilingual trainers are passionate about “training trainers” from across the continent on how to implement Foundations for Farming and conservation agriculture in their own countries. We recently trained a group from Burkina Faso, Mali, & Kenya.

Land preparation in agriculture is critical. FFF fields are prepared during the dry season, without tilling or burning the field. First, identify & clear the land. Then, mark off the planting area using strings and stakes to ensure you use the same fertility stations each season.
