What a great night lastnight. Standing room only in Thorington Street studio for Mike’s talk about Orion. Then outside into the garden where we had telescopes setup viewing the Orion Nebula, Jupiter, Pleiades, Andromeda ,M81 & M82 galaxies (12million light years away!!)

2/3 Mike from @DedhamValeNL astronomy society gave them brief talks and info on rocket launches, @DeanCoates, @KevinAstrokev & @Andydownman showed everyone our selection of amazing telescopes and how they are used, whilst @UkBlakey gave a show & tell on the meteorite display.

1/3 What a pleasure and a privilege to be invited to Ely Cathedral with Andy Green and his Stardome Planetarium. Although the weather didn’t play ball, and no stargazing 🔭 was available 🥺😢 we did entertain the public inside this amazing cathedral though. #ElyCathedral

Another day… another tv appearance with Mike and Dedham Vale. Technical difficulties in the cold saw the live broadcast with BBC Look East cut short and then come back to us minutes later. @Andydownman flying the flag for our great group. Well done bud. Well done everyone!
