Happy weekend guys GM !! Graiku 💚 I’ve been trying to understand what actually happens when an app sends a transaction on Solana. Not the marketing version the real flow, especially what happens when the network is busy. While doing that , I came across @raikucom and their SDK . So this is me breaking down what I understood. ➤ 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐃𝐊? An SDK is just a helper tool for developers. Instead of handling everything on their own retries, failures, edge cases they use an SDK to make things simpler and more reliable. That’s it tbh nothing to fancy meaning. ➤ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚 (𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥) : 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲: ⟹ transactions fail ⟹ transactions get delayed ⟹ apps don’t always know what went wrong From a user’s point of view it feels like: I clicked something but nothing happened. From a builder’s point of view, this is hard to deal with because failures are unpredictable. { 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐬 : Some apps can’t afford randomness. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: ⟹ trading apps ⟹ bots ⟹ games ⟹ automated systems If a transaction doesn’t land on time it’s not just bad UX, it can break the whole app logic. This is the problem Raiku seems to be focused on. Keep reading im not finished yet 😉

@kairoo__ @raikucom Check previous post for more. - ' they use an SDK to make things simpler and more reliable'. Raiku does not use SDK, you are mixing things up here and make it confusing for users. Raiku uses AOT and JIT to make transactions more reliable. Check next post for more.

ngl this is one of the cleanest community mechanics i’ve seen in a while @raikucom is running a system where community (only already selected and trusted part) itself decides what’s slop and what’s not no mod abuse. no vibes police. drop an X link -> instant vote slop or not slop slop gets nuked repeat offenders get timed out keep pushing garbage and the community can literally vote you out good content tho gets boosted gets love in raid channel❣️ this does 3 huge things at once ‣ lets the community self-regulate ‣ massively reduces load on the core team ‣ organically filters in higher quality contributors on top of that they have manual access to the discord real people > farmers > bots end result: actual creatives stick around real community forms genuinely great case study for any project that actually gives a damn about quality and creativity & not just numbers real >> slop every time ww @_offmylawn & @duckk9x
