We’re just cool with it?” Without naming names, the action star turned his attention to a politician with quite a lot of power: “That bitch has the keys to the nuclear. He’s, like, all up into 13-year-olds. Like, dude, what? Go to jail. For those who don’t know the history: This is a lie, mostly of omission. 1. Reagan and Buchanan had their disagreements in 92, but remained friends. 2. Despite Buckley’s betrayal, Buckley and Buchanan still had respect for one another, communicated in letters, etc. 3. Goldwater chose Dole over Buchanan in ‘96–true! Goldwater was increasingly upset that Buchanan was pushing the GOP to be pro-life and against LGBT (an era when some of Goldwater’s more outlandish positions had a grasp of him). Mark knows this, won’t say any of it. Why? What is he trying to say?
