@MichelleMaxwell I smile because this is poetic justice.
I laugh because there is not one damn thing the voters will do anything about it.
NO COMMON SENSE
KEEP VOTING THOSE SOCIALISTS INTO OFFICE FOLKS.

🚨Breaking News: Democrat Governor blocks President Donald Trump's 'no tax on tips' rejecting a tax cut totalling tens of millions for the people of Virginia
#Virginia
Governor Abigail Spanberger and Virginia Democrats have refused to honor tax on tips in the state.
They blocked any change to Virginia’s tax code that would stop the state from taxing tips, forcing tipped workers to hand over a bigger share of their earnings to Richmond than they do to Washington.
The federal “no tax on tips” policy was part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
It allows tipped workers to deduct up to $25,000 in tip income from their taxable income for tax years 2025 through 2028.
The IRS reports that more than 6 million Americans have already claimed the deduction, with an average benefit of more than $7,100 per filer.
Virginia, however, chose not to give the tax relief at a state level - with the new Democrat Governor ditching former Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin's budet proposals that included state-level deductions for tips, overtime pay and car-loan interest.
The move will cost taxpayers in Virginia upwards of $80 million.
Gov. Spanberger and her democrat colleagues have been accused of going on a 'taxing spree' since taking office, introducing dozens of new measures on taxing everything from digital services to dog walking.
Tax proposals introduced by Virginia Democrats in the 2026 legislative session include:
🔷️3.8% net investment income tax on capital gains, dividends, interest, rental income, and other passive income for "higher earners "
🔷️Expanded sales tax on services like: fitness/gym memberships, pet care/dog walking/grooming, dry cleaning, vehicle repairs, home repairs, counseling, concerts/events, haircuts, and other personal services.
🔷️Tax or fee on retail deliveries - including food delivery like Uber Eats/DoorDash and packages from Amazon/UPS/FedEx, with some proposals for a 20-cent or 4.3% delivery fee especially in Northern Virginia
🔷️Taxes on firearms and ammunition - including an 11% excise tax proposal
🔷️Tax on large employers
🔷️Employer and employee premiums for a paid family and medical leave program - AKA new payroll-style tax
🔷️Regional local sales taxes in counties and cities - including for schools or transportation
Tax on fantasy sports operators
🔷️New personal property tax on certain items like electric leaf blowers and landscaping equipment
Tax on digital goods and subscriptions - including streaming services like Netflix
🔷️Higher hotel/motel taxes
🔷️Tax on data centers or skill games/gambling expansions for new revenue

@ZoeGutier BRAGGING RIGHTS: In 1988 I flew 4 hours with an 18 mo. old, 3 year old & 7 year old. The pilot actually came back to tell me my children were well behaved.
It all comes down to RESPECT for others.
English

Vuelo de 10 horas.
Noche cerrada, luces bajas, gente intentando dormir.

SALT
Salt is not seasoning. It’s not the enemy. And it’s not optional.
This isn’t about nutrition. It’s about electricity, memory, and natural order.
WHAT YOU’VE BEEN TOLD:
Salt raises blood pressure
Sodium is dangerous
Salt is just a flavor enhancer
WHAT YOU WEREN’T TOLD:
Refined salt is stripped, bleached, chemically altered — it’s the problem
Natural salt (Himalayan, sea salt, Celtic grey) is mineral-rich and essential for human bioelectric balance
Every nerve signal, heartbeat, and cellular transport system in your body relies on sodium
Without real salt:
Your adrenal system crashes
You retain water inefficiently
Your brain fogs
Your energy declines
In natural biology:
Salt regulates membrane potential
It stabilizes hydration at the cellular level, not just in the bloodstream
It works in tandem with potassium, magnesium, and water to create energy
THE REAL PROBLEM:
Refined salt is an industrial product
Table salt is chemically sterilized and often laced with flow agents like aluminum
The anti-salt campaign began in the 1970s with flawed studies used to justify pharmaceutical intervention
Meanwhile:
Indigenous cultures thrived with high natural salt intake
Hunters, warriors, and farmers used salt to replenish after exertion
It was used in temples, trade, and medicine for over 5,000 years
SALT IN PRACTICE TODAY:
Add a pinch of mineral salt to your water each morning to assist hydration
Use it during fasting to stabilize energy and reduce lightheadedness
Let it replace electrolyte packs filled with chemicals and sugars
Cook with it. Sweat with it. Honor it.
WHY IT WAS DEFAMED: Because real salt can:
Reduce headaches
Support adrenal recovery
Improve energy and cognition
Restore balance without a pill
And most importantly:
It can’t be patented, monetized, or industrialized at scale without stripping its benefit
SUMMARY: Refined salt is synthetic. Natural salt is sacred. The body runs on minerals, and salt is the delivery system.
This isn’t trend. It’s truth. Let real salt return. Let the body remember how to live.

This is worth repeating:
I never cared that you were gay until you started shoving it down my throat, and I never cared what color you were until you started blaming me for your problems.
I never cared about your political affiliation until you started condemning me for mine.
I really never even cared where you were born until you wanted to erase my history and blame my ancestors for your problems.
I never even cared if your beliefs were different from mine until you said my beliefs were wrong.
But now I care. My patience and tolerance are gone, and I am not alone in feeling like this. There are millions of us who feel like this.

@AmericaFirsst Hahahahaha

So my oldest called me today and seemed a little stressed.
Me: What's wrong, baby?"
Her: "I gotta tell you something."
Me: "Ok. Are you ok? What's up?"
Her: "So when I graduate, they have this thing called a pinning ceremony."
Me: mhmm..(I knew where this was going).
Her: "And you can choose one family member to pin it. And...mama, I love you. You know this..."
Me: "I think your Dad should do it. I think it would be the greatest honor, love, and respect if your daddy did the pin with you."
Her: (tears) "Really? You're not mad? Are you sure? I dont want to hurt your feelings. I love you so much."
Me: No, baby. Your daddy had a hard life and came from Cuba. Communism was really hard, and he came to America and made something of himself. I think this would be a beautiful moment between you both if he did. Plus... I am an expert at photography and video. I wouldn't want somebody else to mess up recording this moment between daddy and daughter."
Her: "I love you, Mama."
I wouldn't want anybody else but her dad to give her that pin. She is the first to graduate college and with a nursing degree.
I'm so incredibly grateful for my husband and my children. Their love is my whole world.
Feeling blessed. ❤️❤️❤️
