If you're under the weather this weekend, I can empathize. Being creative between purging sessions takes a whole lot of chutzpah.

@elonmusk I keep hearing detractors say that it isn't proper for you to be this kind of generous. Maybe there is a legal way to have fund that we could each put a bit into so that it isn't only you. Also, thanks for being willing. Many appreciate you for your attitude.

@Paulosophy5150 @jkbjournalist Oddly, some of the most interesting "evidence" I ever got my hands on would have been best shredded, if they had only not snail-mailed a paper copy to the wrong recipient/address. I'm still trying to figure out how to tell the story in the form of a novel. 😇

@Charlie_Novels I don't exactly remember not writing. I had to learn what the symbols meant, the physical writing. I always had the words in my head and world.

Authors and writers! What got you into writing in the first place?

@MoundLore One local organic farmer told us that there are customers who will pay quite a bit extra to have products flown ripe and ready serve to other countries and that the growers make a lot more money on those than the usual shipping routes.

Had a nice chat with a buyer of a large national grocer. Most food in the U.S. isn’t grown close to where it’s eaten. It’s simply shipped. Some items travel over 1,000–1,500 miles before reaching a shelf. Harvested early. Stored cold. Moved constantly. Often it looks fresh. Thing is that doesn’t mean it is. Flavor doesn’t travel well. But preservatives do. We built a food system that prioritizes distance over taste.

My little olive bowl just out of the kiln. A freehand experiment, no plan just a bit of bendy clay and a vague idea. I love trying new things and this one has turned out quite nicely I think.

@FilmLadd @monetization_x In my case at least, I have to not type everything that jumps into my head when the creep parade comes calling and I desperately want to go all Three Stooges on their babble. Lately I've been having better luck following smaller accounts.

If you want good reach, one of the worst things you can do is follow more people than follow you. When someone comes to me concerned about their reach, this is the first thing I check. Oftentimes, they follow way too many people. A high following-to-followers ratio is usually a clear sign of platform manipulation (indiscriminate following). As I watch trends in the X monetization programs, I'm quite certain they now target monetized creators who follow too many. If your only way to get followers is through platform manipulation, maybe consider whether you really are a content creator. Create a brand people want to follow, whether or not you follow them.
