Honestly, some parents really need to do better. I went grocery shopping at the supermarket yesterday. I was trying to make a transfer, but the network was bad and I didn’t have my card with me, so I had to call my husband to transfer the money instead. While I was waiting, the salesgirl was attending to a young lady when a woman tapped her from behind. She said, “Is this not Mercy?” The lady turned and greeted her. Apparently, she was her friend’s mum. They exchanged pleasantries, and the woman started asking, “What are you doing now? Where are you working? When last did you hear from your friend?” The lady was visibly uncomfortable. Before she could properly respond, the woman added, “Did she tell you she’s in Canada now?” The lady replied, “No, she didn’t. Congratulations to the family.” But the woman didn’t stop. She continued, “Maybe you should start your master’s degree. Your friend moved with her husband. When are you getting married too?” Even I was irritated. You could clearly see from the girl’s eyes and body language that she was uncomfortable with the conversation. Just because your children are doing well doesn’t mean others are not trying their best. It shouldn’t go beyond, “How are you? I hope you’re fine.”

I met my best friend from 10 years ago today, and he didn’t even recognize me.😞 This wasn’t some casual acquaintance. This was my best friend. I went up to him, introduced myself, said my name, and even described who I was back then. He still didn’t remember at first. Only after I explained more did it finally click for him, but even then he was so cold. There was no excitement on his face, no warmth, nothing. This was the same person who used to come to our house straight after school almost every day. We’d eat together, laugh, play, and just enjoy each other’s company like nothing else mattered. How do you forget someone like that so completely? 🤦‍♀️

Sorry o. This thing that Ifitness does is actually kind of insane? Tried to sign up, they couldn't charge me for whatever reason, asked if I could come in and pay with card or transfer, they said no must use website or their app. Moved on. THREE MONTHS LATER they're charging me for a quarter that I didn't use??????????? Bank is saying that I can't get a reversal cause I got value for money. Is everybody mad??????
