@Avabelly__ I think you were rude to say that to your daughter. It's a beautiful ring, you should be celebrating the engagement with them. Love is what matters. Good points: 1. not starting out in huge debt buying an unaffordable ring. 2. Not being a target for a mugger with a huge rock.

@TF_WOG @BIG_SGT_D You keep repeating the same rhetoric, twisting scripture to defend your narrative. Mary was blessed to find favor with God. Yes, she listened and followed Christ. We all should. There is no evidence that she was sinless, that is a made up theory of the Vatican.

1.) No one dispute that Mary is the most BLESSED of ALL WOMEN (Luke 1:42). 2.) Jesus CLARIFIED that Mary is BLESSED, NOT simply for “bearing & nursing Him”, but for her OBEDIENCE to KEEP God’s Words. Now, if Mary had sinned (even once)—Jesus would not make that declaration regarding Mary.

On the contrary…in the Bible, Jesus Himself called His mother SINLESS. Jesus called His mother SINLESS because she “Hears and Keeps God’s Word” always. We already KNOW Mary is BLESSED…among ALL WOMEN. (Luke 1:42) Jesus said being “BLESSED” is NOT by being “who you are” (ie Mary was blessed not simply because she was the Mother of Jesus), but by “Hearing & Keeping God’s Word”… Keeping God’s Word= NEVER DISOBEY God= NEVER SIN. Thus, Jesus declared His mother NEVER Sinned because she always “Keeps God’s Word”.

It is a Biblical Fact that Mary is “BLESSED among ALL WOMEN” (Luke 1:42) Jesus said of Mary “the Womb that bore Him”: “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!" (Luke 11:27-28) Jesus said in the PRESENT Tense, that Mary is BLESSED because she KEEPS God’s Word. If Mary had ever sinned, Jesus would NOT say that of Mary.

@TF_WOG @BIG_SGT_D It's true, only God can judge who is sinless, yet God never said Mary was. It is the Vatican that made that judgment and the Catholics are ones who say Mary was sinless. She knew she needed a Savior and is saved by grace through faith in the death and resurrection of her son.

Only GOD can judge Mary to be SINLESS…and the Bible showed God did exactly that to make Mary the Immaculate Beginning of His New Covenant (God’s Perfect New Plan for Humanity). Mary is the MOST Humble (Luke 1:48), so she would never declare herself sinless and thus would follow every Letter of “The Law of the Lord”.

I read the Bible a lot, literaly every day, so it's guaranteed I'll read the entire Bible at least once in a year. Because I do that, It's really easy for me to go through the entire Bible focusing specifically on a certain subject like Catholicism. I've done it several times now, and every time I do catholicism only gets worse. There is no justifying it, none whatsoever. It only becomes more and more clear that Roman Catholicism is satan's counterfeit and the mother of all harlots.

@TF_WOG @BIG_SGT_D You're twisting scripture to fit your narrative. If a woman wasn't determined to be unclean in giving birth she would not be required to give a sin offering. It is considered a sin & a sin offering is required. If Mary was sinless, she wouldn't have completed the requirements.

Luke 2:24 is very important. It links Mary and Jesus DIRECTLY back to “The Law of The Lord” in GALATIANS 4:4 (ie Jesus must be born UNDER the “Law of the Lord”) and LEVITICUS 12:6 (ie the birthing mother offering “a pigeon or a turtledove for a SIN OFFERING”. Mary MUST follow the “Law of the Lord” as a devout Jew…by making a “sin offering” after childbirth…BUT that does NOT mean Mary had sins. Just as Jesus allowed John the Baptist to BAPTIZE Him, even though Jesus is SINLESS.

@TF_WOG @BIG_SGT_D Mary knew the law and that the blood shed in childbirth was unclean and required a sin offering & a burnt offering. Luke 2:21-24 states she completed the purification of sin, concentrated Jesus, and gave the required 2 turtle doves or pigeons. She was not immaculate, just human.

For Example… MARY MUST be SINLESS— EXCLUSIVELY from Scripture ALONE: MARY MUST be SINLESS—PROVEN in Scripture by Leviticus 12:6, Psalms 51:5, and ESPECIALLY Galatians 4:4. (Leviticus 12:6) = "LAW of the LORD" dictates the SINFULNESS of the MOTHER that requires "SIN OFFERING for ATONEMENT". (Galatians 4:4) And Jesus is to be "born UNDER THE LAW" of the LORD...and (like David) would also be "conceived in SIN" and "born in INIQUITY"...IF Mary is NOT SINLESS—(Psalms 51:5)

As a Catholic, make it a norm to defend your faith using the CCC. We are not Sola Scriptura. We believe that divine revelation comes through Sacred Scriptures, Sacred Tradition, and Magisterium. Our premise is quite different from theirs.

The papacy is biblical. The papacy is seen from the earliest days of church history. Every heresy and schism is the rejection of the papacy. Catholicism is the fullness of the truth that Jesus Christ gave to the apostles.
