Public transport in Lagos is dehumanizing. By the time you get to your destination, you just want your bed.
Rusty hinges everywhere, sexual harassment, drivers who are never 100% sober, to mention but a few.

Before that, I first experienced murder up close by a police officer back in University. It was actually Uniport.
An officer shot and killed my then Faculty president of FAMSSA because he led a protest in school. He was shot right in front of us all! His name was Peter Ofurum

The video of that man being shot dead just brought back this stupid PTSD. In 2020 almost this period of the year, an officer shot Sleek here in PH and left him to bleed out. We couldn’t do anything. We just stood and watched a young blood go cold 💔. Still hunts me everyday. 😔
