So I went to the gym to get in the pool to do my Chocolate Thundah, super duper stud muffin aquaboogie water cardio workout. It had been a minute, but I needed to burn my 600 calaries. So I bop on over to the pool and there are 40 old ladies doing water aerobics. I was heated. How was I going to burn these calories. As they were bouncing to the beat, I saw a large space in the pool where no one was. I figured I’d get in and do my Super Duper, Chocolate Thundah Aqua-boogie cardio. So as I climbed into the pool, the instructor walked up to me and said “Excuse me! Are you joining us?” I looked at the group and said “I’m good.” I wasn’t gonna do no old people workouts. She looked at me and said “Well you can’t be in the pool unless you you are with the group.” I was short on time. I needed to workout so I gave in and decided to join. I was placed next to this old lady. I smiled. She mean mugged me. I looked at her like “You good?” She looked at me like “You sure you can hang?” I looked at her like “I’m Chocolate Thundah! I’m from the HANG GANG!” She looked at me like “Well bring it son!” I looked at her like “ITS ALREADY BEEN BROUGHT!” Then the beat dropped and we scowled at each other and went in!!! I thought she would be done in the first five minutes. But she started off strong. I turned it up a notch, she turned it up two notches. So I went defcon THUNDALISCIOUS on her old butt. She matched my ass stroke for stroke. The instructor threw the resistance paddles in the water for us. I knew I was about to whoop Gertrude now. The beat dropped again and it was on. We were 20 minutes in and Grams was still kicking’. She matched me stroke for stroke again. I was was impressed. After 40 minutes of splashin’ and dashin’, me and Gurdy finished. I gave her a fist bump, she winked and I looked at my watch. I burned 500 calories to my surprise. I learned something tonight. Never judge a group by their age. And that old people workouts are not to bad. Go head’ Gurtrude!!!
