@LennieNewman1 It was embarrassing to watch, especially the reaction to Pollocks yellow.
English

@stephenjones9 As usual you are wrong. Watch the Pollock yellow and tell me he got that one right.
English

@Charlesrylands7 Referee was wrong, you take that in rugby. What was a massive disappointment was the reaction of Bath fans. Embarrassing.
English

@WheresTommyV Sad sad day when you let your best players go. Timing is also questionable 🤨
English

@TightFive_Rugby Because of their respective rankings from qualifying & this year they get Home Country
English

Absolutely wasnt a red card but I expect nothing less from a Saints fan boy

YELLOW CARD! Guillaume Ducat. Unbelievable decision. An absolute shocker. Incredibly dangerous and deliberate clear-out on Henry Pollock. Arm was tucked. Referee says no red because contact was on the shoulder. Saints 7-12 Castres.

@DebsiF @PlanetRugby So the definition is subjective but then has a clear definition? Thanks for clearing that one up.
English

@9ry46vq5cg @PlanetRugby I agree the definition is subjective. However, it is not broader than on field performance. Any player who was great off the field in any respect but couldn’t perform on it would hardly warrant selection. Again you miss my point although I suspect you choose to ignore it.
English

@DebsiF @PlanetRugby I understood your question.
Again, you seem to disregard hardship, culture and influence as factors to a players greatness or best of all time. Which are important considerations.
The definition of best is subjective and broader than on field performance. Especially for SA.
English

@9ry46vq5cg @PlanetRugby Not at all. The question was about best players. My remark focussed on the fact Mr Monye first referred to his colour as opposed to why he was the best player.
English

@DebsiF @PlanetRugby Perhaps the significance of a black SA captain has bypassed you.

Rassie Erasmus has signed a multi-year deal to replace Steve Borthwick as England head coach. sarugbymag.co.za/rassie-quits-b…

@gallagherbren58 He is an exceptionally talented young player, just gets bad press from some quarters.
English

Yep, v good game from him. He'll get little credit but it won't surprise anybody who has watched him for 2 or 3 seasons. He's bloody good at the grunt/basics, the confusion comes when coaches ask him to stand off and be a 3rd centre/strike runner
Getting balance right is key

🐐 Pollock was everywhere on the weekend. Superb on the ground, attack and in D. The fact that two of these clips are dragging England captain Itoje behind him, and bumping off a big shot from former England captain Farrell is especially impressive.
