@RobCimi @niccruzpatane Basic Autopilot does not exist any longer on new vehicles . Lane keep nudges you if you drift into the right or left line but it does not center you in your lane any longer. That only works with autosteer. Lane centering is srandard on everything but a New Tesla .

Elon Musk on upgrading FSD hardware for customers who bought FSD on HW3 vehicles during today’s Q1 2026 Earnings Call: “Unfortunately, HW3, I wish it were otherwise, but HW3 simply does not have the capability to achieve Unsupervised FSD. We did think at one point it would have that, but relative to HW4 — it has only 1/8th the memory bandwidth of HW4, and memory bandwidth is one of the key elements needed for Unsupervised FSD, and it's just generally a thing that's needed for Al. If you're doing an order aggressive transformer, memory bandwidth is the choke point. For customers that have bought FSD, what we're offering is essentially a discounted trade-in for cars that have Al4 hardware, and we'll also be offering the ability to upgrade the car to replace the computer — you also need to replace the cameras, unfortunately, to go to HW4. To do this efficiently, we're going to have to set up micro-factories or small factories in major metropolitan areas in order to do it efficiently. I do think over time, it’s going to make sense for us to convert ALL HW3 cars to HW4 because that’s what enables them to enter the Robotaxi fleet and have Unsupervised FSD.”

There is really only one way , wait for the upgrade. Trading in your vehicle and then paying a subscription is giving up. If you want to do that then ask for arbitration ( Especially if you paid over 10K) get your FSD money back adn then you still have a car with autosteer which is still better then whey you get new you can use the 10K toward your tradein if you want

@niccruzpatane Bad news and good news. Bad: HW3 will never get Unsupervised FSD. Good: Tesla will provide two ways to get from HW3 to HW4. But neither will be free.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ LOL... 1st its Winter, all the Trees are bare , 2nd Its above ground roots don't grow above the ground ( normally) . 3) even if they used 2' of root block the roots would grow down and stunt its growth not kill it . So more of a Click Coffin then a Tree Coffin.

This man who is a landscaper said you should never build a tree coffin around a tree. He said it ends up making the tree die by restricting the roots and having too much mulch. I never knew they were called "tree coffins". I looked it up and it does say they can be very detrimental to your tree if not done correctly. The pavers can restrict root growth and the mulch shouldn't be too thick or torching the base of the tree. I have seen some pretty nice "tree coffins". I never knew they were bad for your trees. Do you have these around your trees? Did you build one a certain way that allows your tree to flourish? What about the people who cemented their pavers together and in the ground?

@Arcfunmi Most builders only fill concrete around windows, doors and where joists are supported on he external walls. Some people pay extra for all the walls to be filled, especially in hurricane prone areas. The roof may still blow off but the walls will stay up

FSD scared the crap out of me and my wife. We were headed out of town and my wife was taking zoom calls in the backseat and I was relaxing letting FSD do all of the work. We were following behind a cement truck and as we went through the intersection, the cement truck ran the light at the last minute, as soon as FSD was able to see the light it turned red and FSD slammed on the brakes. My wife’s laptop went sliding across the car, but we got stopped, and then FSD backed us up behind the line.

I call BS..The casinos have video of EVERYTHING, if he was up 600k when it went out he would have been fine , causing additional damage plus loss of revenue to a gaming machine would cost him more then that. The only people who get like this are those that lost everything and don't GAF.
