Limpopo Traffic Officers intercepted a suspected overloaded bus on the N1 near the Mashishing off-ramp in Polokwane. The bus, travelling from Malawi to Johannesburg, is licensed to carry 70 passengers but was allegedly transporting 90 people. Authorities also found that the passenger list reflected only 25 passengers. SAPS and Immigration officials were called to the scene and investigations are ongoing. The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety warned that overloading endangers lives and said law enforcement will continue cracking down on violations of road safety laws.

I express my strong solidarity and support for the South African law enforcement forces after they were attacked by some FAR Rabat supporters. I also apologize to the @Masandawana supporters, as these individuals do not represent Morocco or the Moroccan people.

@kgadikgolo77 @SayEntrepreneur Dealerships buy most of these cars. Knowing how things work in this country, I suspect that they also buy them through a back door not auction. It's possible that some of the people who are responsible for repossessing cars own dealerships.

SA banks are repossessing ~6,000 cars a month. This is 200 cars per day If you ever wonder why auction lots look identical, look at the estimated monthly numbers by model: 1. VW Polo / Vivo: ~950 2 Toyota Hilux: ~750 3. Toyota Corolla Quest: ~650 4. Ford Ranger: ~500 5. Suzuki Swift: ~450 6. BMW (1, 2, 3 Series): ~300 7. Hyundai Grand i10: ~250 8. Renault Kwid: ~200

@Orkney_Said That’s for you to find out because there are foreigners everywhere in the world doing some jobs. Even some South Africans are foreigners somewhere working. 😉

I was watching the podcast of Julius Malema with JJ Tabane, and I am glad he has debunked the MYTH that the EFF is pro-foreigners over South Africans.

Minister, believe it or not, we actually want you to succeed. Not because we support you, but because the youth of this country are DESPERATE for jobs and dignity. So when we ask for accountability, it's not an attack. Now that we got that preview out of the way, Minister, can you update us on the “Spaza Shop” fund? 1. How much was deployed? 2. To whom? 3. Which asset management company was given the mandate to manage that fund? 4. How were they selected? 5. What's the performance of the fund thus far? 6. Where are the Spaza shops & the underlying Spaza shop owners that your fund has assisted? Asilwi. Siyabuza. We will wait in the comments for feedback.

A 38-year-old foreign national was arrested by the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department in Benoni for producing and selling fraudulent documents. The arrest followed reports of fake electricity receipts found at the Chief Albert Luthuli informal settlement in Cloverdene. Officers traced the documents to an internet café on Bedford Avenue, where the suspect allegedly admitted to printing and selling the fake receipts for R250 each. Police also uncovered other fraudulent documents, including fake smart ID cards, appointment letters, work permits, traffic registers and foreign driver’s licences. Equipment used to produce the documents was seized. The suspect is facing fraud and Immigration Act charges and is expected to appear in the Benoni Magistrate’s Court.

@Newzroom405 People from all over the world including SAns, move in and out of countries in search of better life. Does not give a right for citizens to beat up Africans undocumented or not. The state should arrest such thugs.
