City need to beat Adelaide along with Sydney not beating Auckland to be back in the ACL. 4 weeks ago we weren’t making finals. Mental.

Find it hard to be particularly angry about tonight. The performance wasn’t very good and there were some things you definitely could have done differently, but it’s not normal to expect to win eight or nine or 10 games in a row. You’ll always have off days, or you’ll get things wrong or opposition will find a way to stifle you. The precarious nature of the situation meant Saints perhaps couldn’t afford an off day, but it’s 20 games unbeaten and an incredible run to even be in this position. Showed plenty of fight to come from behind twice and we’ve seen enough of that over the last few weeks. Eventually it’ll catch up with you, the intensity of the schedule and the demands, and maybe it did tonight. It looks like it’ll probably be play-offs now but as long as they can respond to this they’ll have a serious chance of winning them. Would have snapped your hand off to be in this position a few months ago. Wembley next, can’t complain! #SaintsFC

@InTheMixer Not saying I necessarily agree with it, just saying what I think will happen. Football is a results business and he knows how to grind results. Gonna be hard not to extended him, just how it is.

This probably sees vids extended. Good ACL run and finals. 16/18 points since the ACL has finished. I probably underestimated just how much that competition affects league form. Fair play to all for turning it around. Could do something special in finals in this form ❤️🤍💙

@mcfctommyy Yeah I hear you, I feel it would be an extension with an axe dangled next year. If we start with shit results and shit performances could be an early trigger pull. But across the last two years, all things considered, purely results based it’s a big ✅

@DeclanArcher3 I do feel concerned in some areas, especially football wise we haven’t been that good. Feel like we have relied on more individual brilliance than overall tactical proficiency this season.

@mcfctommyy Even if we don’t make the gf still feels stiff not to extend. Great acl run and finals. 6 undefeated since the comp ended. Paired with his gf win last year, hard to say that’s not good enough.

@DeclanArcher3 It’s an interesting talking point tbh. Will be curious to see if he stays on or not. Feel like if we make another grand final it’s a definite.
