@AboveWeston I get a similar spike at 406mhz I'm not sure what it is I suspect related to pc monitor etc, but I do get tetra images also not sure about your location but I get tetra signals to 399mhz

Let’s see what it does. No idea just playing. 1 loop per ferrite core on the power (DC) x6. Same on the USB but 2x. 2 just straight though on the very ends. 6 on the antenna coax straight as well. Looks pretty on the loops side.

@FMDXIreland I must look into it as my boundary fence is directly east/west is yours just affixed to fence not high etc?

@DeclanMayock Hey Declan, I just have a loop on the fence at the back - its 40 foot by 10 foot delta with a 16:1 balun if i rem right and a variable resistor at the back to turn off signals from behind. I run into into the amp in anmfj 1026 which lifts signals up well.

@AboveWeston I did it previously with some windows software and worked well but that looks slicker and automated what you are using

@DeclanMayock The X30 will do a bit. Not perfect. Outside is always best. Doesn’t have to be a Pi for some stuff. A small mini pc or old pc can run this. It’s mostly all Linux based. 868 can do Meshtastic or MeshCore but I didn’t find much with it

Well going outside was so worth it. North France and Southern Ireland.

@AboveWeston Same is quiet a bit of mesh here but very limited indoors at 868 I had antennas outdoor but a nice neighbour reported me to planning I now have one antenna a log periodic outdoors (needed planning) so anything else needs to be discreet but definitely going to explore the sondes

@AboveWeston Thanks I'll have a read of that I need to get a rasp pi as I'm missing out on alot of fun projects, I'm using a diamond x30 in the attic and antenna I wasn't impressed with for general scanning but seems to work well on tinygs,also have 868 ant in attic haven't explored it much

What antenna are you using for that? There is also RDZ TTGO for the Lora 433 stuff that does radio sonde.

@AboveWeston What software are you using I have a heltec 433 that I have setup for things with a UHF antenna in attic works well but I would be more interested in this setup

It’s dirty but it’ll work. Antenna is now in the outside air. Cable is 5m H155. Today’s 1st sonde is about to be launched.
